I think many say they do, but also have "hate speech" laws. Any country that has a "hate speech" law doesn't have freedom of speech. Canada comes to mind (though I seem to recall that law may have been changed recently.)

I don't know about now, but when I was in England back in the seventies you could not say anything bad about the Queen in public or the bobbies might rap you on the head and cart you away.
So we don't have it all that bad.

I find myself being VERY careful about what I say against the government on the internet, cellphones, and even land lines. I do not trust my own government anymore, especially with my political leanings. Look what happened at the IRS, EPA, NSA etc. Government agencies with a poltical bias being used to punish conservatives, and/or spy on people. It is starting to feel like Nazi Germany (Gestapo), or the Soviet Union (KGB).

Not sure if I had shared this on the other forum or not, but the year after Obama was elected every single small business owner I knew was audited, without exception, every single one. This was dozens of businesses across the whole country in disparate industries - seemed odd at the time but matches up with what is perceived by many (rightly I think) as an anti-business bias among the more radically left wing elements of the Democrat party (who were in total control at that time BTW).

Yes they did. They went right to work on every right wing conservative institution in this country either by executive order or just being suck-asses for position, I can't say which but I have a high suspicion.

I have a HuGE problem with the government picking and choosing who to attack based on the political leanings of the guy (illegal alien) at the top.

I do as well. It is akin to Nazi Germany, or Soviet Russia which is where I believe we are heading, especially if Obama (Hillary) is re-elected. I am afraid to speak my mind in public or over the phone for fear of being punished by my own government. If the IRS, EPA, DHS, BATF, etc can employ Gestapo like tactics, which they are, then our representative republic has been replace by a totalitarian regime.
