Go to 55 seconds and watch his hand around the microphone.  Very odd.

Also note that he walked to Marine One and the helicopter was not running when he walked to it.  I guess he cannot walk against the prop wash of a running helicopter. 

It could also be that Trump used the moving rotors to drown out the press. ::)

 They have a rotor brake and are using the engine for environmentals.

The left engine could be clutched to/from the main drive so there was no danger of the rotor brake slipping and the rotor spinning with everybody under the arc. Now they can close the door, release the brake, engage the clutch and spin up. Crank the right and you are ready to go. A little quicker maybe.
