I'm not that interested in climate policy, but in general, I can't stand when people base their political ideologies on clearly anti-intellectual viewpoints. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own facts.
But it might be of interest if they correlated their Twitter accounts with their IRL identities.

I don't know if the forum software supports it, but I think it would be really cool for members to be able to add a red, purple, or blue icon in their profile excerpt that appears with posts. Indicate political leanings because sometimes it is unclear (ok, rarely, but sometimes). It would be helpful in interpreting some people's responses. I'm politically in the middle so I'd be a purple.
