A depraved Texas granny and her live-in-lover allegedly tied up her grandson, and held him captive for weeks in a backyard shed — ever since his school closed because of the coronavirus pandemic, a report said.
He was being punished for stealing food, probably because he usually ate school lunches. It doesn’t say whether the grandmother and lover lost jobs because of the shutdown and didn’t have much food, which of course is no excuse. But it definitely appears he wouldn’t have been tied up in a shed if not for the shutdown.

I don't know... I don't understand what kind of sick oxygen thief would tie up a child under any circumstances.
If the shutdown didn't happen, there would have been some other trigger.

Was the grandmother named maxine waters?
Maybe she was afraid he'd grow to be an hard working, tax paying, American.
Can't have that.

Eventually true, but then maybe not, or maybe not until he was older and more able to resist. The shutdown forcing families to stay together 24/7 is extremely frustrating. It’s all I can do to keep from murdering my beloved husband and I normally cannot even squash a bug. Somebody like psychobitch here is probably pushed over the edge by this shutdown.
