Title: Cellular Outage

Several companies.  Is this the test run?  ::)

I saw an article quoting Verizon and T-Mobile who both said their systems were working fine and all the reports of their outages were their customers trying to contact AT&T.  That it was only AT&T with the problem however, don’t these companies all use the same cell towers?  So if it’s AT&T towers with the problem that would affect everyone.  Or are all these communications happening through a satellite?

As for speculation about a cyber attack from China or Russia:  Plausible. It’s equally -no, more - plausible that it’s our own government conducting a trial run for something planned, say, around November?

So I lean toward, yes, Lucifer.  It’s a test run.  Our own CIA knows more about and has played around more with our cell network and internet than a foreign power could possibly have.

I have been out and about all day today, starting around 7am, From N.E. Florida t S.E. Florida to W. Florida and back home.
I haven't had any issues on my AT&T Iphone or Ipad.

I'm not questioning that there was a problem.  Just saying that it appeared to be very spotty.

I haven’t actually spoken to anyone who personally experienced the outage. It must not be anywhere near system wide.

Well speaking of big cities.  I don’t live in one. I live in the middle of Trump territory.  We went for early voting today and it was busier than the midterms.  My sister lives in a big city and she went for early voting and it was dead. The lady there said they were surprised how few people were showing up.

In both the Democrat and Republican primaries there is really only one candidate that’s going to win.  I interpret the difference in turnout to be, in my mostly Republican county, Trump supporters are passionate about coming out for him, even though there’s virtually 100% chance he’s gonna win.

Like wise, Biden will win, however in the Democrat dominated city, it’s not like they love Biden. They hate him, it’s just that they hate Trump more. So they’ll vote for Biden in the general but they’re not bothering to come out and vote in the primary.
