What would be MORE shocking would be finding out that little adam schiff told the truth sometime.

How about when Brennan went Ukraine under a false name.

Barr asked Trump to reach out to other countries for Durham probe, official says; source pushes back on NYT reporting
A Justice Department official told Fox News on Monday that Attorney General Bill Barr asked President Trump to make introductions to foreign countries that might have had information pertinent to U.S. Attorney John Durham's ongoing probe into possible misconduct by the intelligence community at the outset of the Russia investigation.
But a person familiar with the situation told Fox News it would be wrong to say Trump "pressed" the Australian prime minister for information that could have discredited former Special Counsel Mueller's now-completed probe, as The New York Times reported earlier Monday.
"The countries have been helpful," the source said. "There was no pressing required."
The president was letting the heads of other countries know that the attorney general would be contacting the appropriate law enforcement entities in each country, according to the DOJ official. When Barr was in Italy last week, he did talk to law enforcement officials there about Durham's review, Fox News was told.
The DOJ official also stressed that this has been a routine procedure in diplomacy and that Barr would not usually reach out to his direct counterpart in another country unilaterally. Instead, usually there would be an introduction of sorts made at the head-of-state level.

It is amazing that the few, elitist population centers can pretty much control the country, and it will only get worse.

Totally FALSE. Stop lying.
What is false about it? It looks pretty accurate to me. Trump supporters seem not to remember that he won by less than 50,000 votes across 3 states.

No, President Trump won by 77 Electoral College votes.
I hope that people understand how the US Presidental elections are determined.

Is that how we determine elections now? I must have missed that amendment.

That's the problem, we have a lot of people who falsely believe that it's a popular vote.
-
Trumplethinskin lost the popular vote to the Hilldebeast harder than George Bush the Younger lost it to Al Bore.
-
That's the problem, we have a lot of people who falsely believe that it's a popular vote.
We are designed as a Republic of States which are the primary government, with the reason being state capitals are more accessible to the populace than a far away Federal collectivist capital. The STATES elect the President not "The People". The popular vote in each STATE urges the Electoral College members to vote for the candidate that wins that vote in each STATE.
The NATIONAL Popular Vote as an aggregate is BEYOND MEANINGLESS.
But you know that.
-
Trumplethinskin lost the popular vote to the Hilldebeast harder than George Bush the Younger lost it to Al Bore.
And that means what? In the context of Presidential elections and the constitution?

He's just trolling as usual.

Ignorance fits your idiocy so well.
No wonder colleges turn out such morons, they have
the likes of you showing them the way.

He's just trolling as usual.
I know. Still holding out some hope he could actually engage in a meaningful discussion.
And yea, I know... ::)
-
Trumplethinskin lost the popular vote to the Hilldebeast harder than George Bush the Younger lost it to Al Bore.
As Trump said, right after the election when the cry-baby party started, well, crying,
If the election were based on popular vote, I would have campaigned differently and won that too.
So what was your point again?

What Steingar posted is pretty accurate. I use a bunch of these different maps in my data visualization class. This one is in shades of red / blue indicating not winner takes all but the relative percentage of red/blue in each county
-
This is one of my favorites showing how a few large cities dominate the vote. Which is why we have the Electoral College. Which Bernie says he wants to make free for all.
-

It may have been accurate, but it was also meaningless. Sort of like crying because your football team lost even though they racked up more yardage. That just isn't how the game is played.
-

Agreed. You need a story to go along with the visualization or the audience is left to make up its own story, which is NOT the way to do a presentation. I am very happy that the Founders had the wisdom to create the Electoral College. I'd hate to have that lone red guy in Wyoming have his property rights decided by the crowd of blue guys in New York City.

Exactly, and in my previous post I stated why we have the EC and what actually elects Presidents. But, the poor little, clueless Progressives can't handle losing, like little spoiled children throwing a tantrum.

The example I give to my progressive relatives is the 1960 World Series. The Yankees scored 55 total runs but lost the World Series to the Pirates who scored 27 total runs. Should we award the Series win to the team that scores the most runs or to the team that wins the most games?

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2019/10/02/nyt-adam-schiff-knew-about-whistleblower-complaint-before-it-was-even-formally-f-n2554069
The Democratic head of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Adam B. Schiff of California, learned about the outlines of a C.I.A. officer’s concerns that President Trump had abused his power days before the officer filed a whistle-blower complaint, according to a spokesman and current and former American officials.
The early account by the future whistle-blower shows how determined he was to make known his allegations that Mr. Trump asked Ukraine’s government to interfere on his behalf in the 2020 election. It also explains how Mr. Schiff knew to press for the complaint when the Trump administration initially blocked lawmakers from seeing it.
Before going to Congress, the C.I.A. officer had a colleague convey his accusations to the agency’s top lawyer. Concerned about how that avenue for airing his allegations was unfolding, the officer then approached a House Intelligence Committee aide, alerting him to the accusation against Mr. Trump. In both cases, the original accusation was vague.
The House staff member, following the committee’s procedures, suggested the officer find a lawyer to advise him and file a whistle-blower complaint. The aide shared some of what the officer conveyed to Mr. Schiff. The aide did not share the whistle-blower’s identity with Mr. Schiff, an official said.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/10/02/adam-schiff-spox-defends-preview-of-deep-state-complaint-regular-occurrence/
A spokesperson for House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff (D-CA) attempted to downplay a bombshell report confirming suspicions the impeachment inquiry architect received an early account of allegations made in a complaint regarding President Donald Trump’s July telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“This is a regular occurrence, given the Committee’s unique oversight role and responsibilities. Consistent with the Committee’s longstanding procedures, Committee staff appropriately advised the whistleblower to contact an Inspector General and to seek legal counsel,” Schiff’s spokesman said. “[A]t no point did the Committee review or receive the complaint in advance… The Committee did not receive the complaint until the night before the Acting Director of National Intelligence’s open hearing before the Committee.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/adam-schiff-needs-to-go
Plenty of would-be whistleblowers go to members of the House Intelligence Committee for help navigating the ropes of the inspector general process. What the one in the case of President Trump's Ukraine call did was par for the course. Absent any new information, it is seemingly beyond reproach.
What Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff did was not. Rather than inform his fellow committee members and let the process play out accordingly, he withheld knowledge of the complaint, used cable news to make the seeds of the complaint into public knowledge while the complaint was withheld from Congress, lied about his knowledge of the complaint to the press, and then used his post as chairman to turn testimony by acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire into a performative disaster rather than a substantive exploration of the contents of the complaint itself.
The revelation prompted Republican committee member Elise Stefanik to say what any honest witness would realize in the wake of Schiff's dishonesty rivaling that of the president himself: Schiff must step down as chairman.
Democrats control the House, and if they want to go forward with impeaching Trump in earnest that's their prerogative. But such proceedings cannot be taken lightly, and Schiff cannot be trusted not to continue to make a mockery of a process enshrined with the severity of a last resort in our Constitution.

If this was in Philly that means it was organized by Comcast and their big Lefty donor, bundler and Obama pal, CEO, Brian Roberts. They are getting NERVOUS about Biden, and his son's dealings with Ukraine, and Liawatha's surge.
Joe Biden’s top political donors gathered for an emergency closed-door meeting this weekend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as his campaign falls behind rivals in both funds and polling.
The New York Times was first to report the meeting on Sunday, noting the financiers were treated to a behind-the-scenes view of the campaign’s headquarters and strategy, including a private address by the former vice president.
“In a sign of the attendees’ significant financial firepower, Mr. Biden himself addressed the several dozen donors who came to the retreat on Saturday, rallying them for 45 minutes about the months ahead, people there said,” the Times reported. “The campaign kept the session with Mr. Biden behind closed doors, despite pledging to open them to the press.”

https://noqreport.com/2019/10/08/scathing-letter-presidents-counsel-shows-unconstitutional-impeachment/
To comply with the Constitution’s demands, appropriate procedures would include-at a minimum-the right to see all evidence, to present evidence, to call witnesses, to have counsel present at all hearings, to cross-examine all witnesses, to make objections relating to the examination of witnesses or the admissibility of testimony and evidence, and to respond to evidence and testimony. Likewise, the Committees must provide for the disclosure of all evidence favorable to the President and all evidence bearing on the credibility of witnesses called to testify in the inquiry. The Committees’ current procedures provide none of these basic constitutional rights.
In addition, the House has not provided the Committees’ Ranking Members with the authority to issue subpoenas. The right of the minority to issue subpoenas-subject to the same rules as the majority-has been the standard, bipartisan practice in all recent resolutions authorizing presidential impeachment inquiries. The House’s failure to provide co-equal subpoena power in this case ensures that any inquiry will be nothing more than a one-sided effort by House Democrats to gather information favorable to their views and to selectively release it as only they determine. The House’s utter disregard for the established procedural safeguards followed in past impeachment inquiries shows that the current proceedings are nothing more than an unconstitutional exercise in political theater.
