I am sure they will find this guy is just another multiple Felon, career criminal with a violent past, in and out of jail. The Marxist Mayor's initial statements side with the "victim" of the shooting of course.
Here's what happened.
On Monday afternoon, police say two officers responded to a call for a man with a weapon on the 6100 block of Locust Street around 4 p.m.
The officers were met by a man who police say was carrying a knife, and officers ordered him to drop the knife multiple times. Police say the man, later identified as 27-year-old Walter Wallace Jr., did not comply with those orders and followed the officers around the street with the knife in hand.
The two officers then discharged their firearms, firing at least 14 shots, striking Wallace in the shoulder and chest. One of the officers then put him in a police vehicle and drove him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Commie Mayor Kenney said:
"My prayers are with the family and friends of Walter Wallace. I have watched the video of this tragic incident and it presents difficult questions that must be answered. I spoke tonight with Mr. Wallace's family, and will continue to reach out to hear their concerns first-hand, and to answer their questions to the extent that I am able," said Mayor Jim Kenney after the shooting.
At least 30 police officers were injured overnight after tensions following the incident boiled over across West Philadelphia.

By Monday night, a group of residents took to the streets protesting Wallace's death. Officers could also be seen setting up a perimeter around the 18th district police station.
Cops cars and dumpsters were later set on fire as police struggled to contain the crowds. More than a dozen officers, many with batons in hand, formed a line as they ran down 52nd Street chasing protesters away from the main thoroughfare.
The Action Cam also captured video of broke windows and vandalized vehicles along 52nd and Pine streets. The group is also believed to be responsible for broken windows at a number of buildings, including a police station and a Starbucks in University City.

The old “shoot him in the leg” argument. Idiots know nothing about self defense. I haven’t seen footage of the incident so won’t judge whether or not it was justified but I’m sick of shoot him in the leg. Taser might have been an option or pepper spray but maybe they tried those.
Hey I have an idea, why don’t we wait until all the facts come out before we go burning down innocent peoples’ property and hurting other innocent officers.

It depends where you go. There are nice areas for sure, but where this is happening is NOT one of them. All in all, I can do without the whole place and rarely go in there anymore. Remember those 1000 plane raids over Dresden? They should reenact them over Philly.

I never get people eating outside on the sidewalk of a major city. I grew up in Chicago and would eat at many great restaurants. However virtually every time someone wanted to eat outside, I would take the smell test and could smell the piss fumes coming out of the alley. No thank you. Big cities are filthy places.
