Yikes. And it is true that these scheduling and maintenance programs often use rather low security measures.

Seems most likely they just didn't delete her account.  I know I still have accounts at places I haven't worked in 10 years because nobody is really managing them.  I recently visited as a customer and was told to use a particular server once they got me an account.  Out of habit, I logged in and my old credentials were still valid.

Although I do agree, many, many website lack good security.

She’s either a psychopath or just incredibly stupid, unable to connect maintenance and airworthiness records to actually endangering innocent people’s lives. Probably the former.

Or perhaps both. Using a family email account when you are going to commit an illegal act seems like the latter.
