One has to wonder.....

 If these volunteers had prepared meals to be served to illegals seeking refuge in the state, would we see the same results?

This had nothing to do with the food. I guarantee it was an effort to shut down faith-based and other groups helping the needy vs the benevolent dictatorship of government.
