Spin Zone / The Debt Ceiling
« on: April 18, 2023, 06:01:05 AM »
So Speaker McLoser is proposing to raise the debt ceiling while at the same time reducing spending.   ::)

Here's a fuckin' clue:  Why not stop this ridiculous spending, such as funding gender studies in Pakistan, the sex habits of frogs in the Amazon, or billions in grants to countries that hate us?    There's a start.

Defund this diversity and equity garbage in the federal government.    Require each federal agency to shrink by 10%.

Have congress take a 10% paycut.

When did the fucking democrat communists decide women were their enemy?

Real women.   Real women are now the enemy of the left.

Trans women and men are their new hero’s.

And the tactic is working.  While everyone is focused on all of this LGBTQ and whatever other letter crap, the democrat communist are crashing the economy and destroying the US.

Assume we get enough states to call a convention.  What then?  We still have politicians running the show and nothing will happen.  That's like hiring a fox to guard the henhouse.

No. There's only one way out of this.

Thomas Jefferson once wrote to James Madison, “I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and is as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.”

Feinstein fighting shingles. McConnell fell broke ribs and suffered a concussion and is supposedly not recovering well and may have to resign and now Blumenthal has broken his leg and will be out for a bit.

  Just breaks my heart.

A GOP Senate and GOP House would be powerless to shrink the Executive branch without a GOP president.

When Trump took office, he had a GOP senate and a GOP house.   And who fought him every step of the way for the first two years?

The GOP is dead.  The RNC is dead.   They are both slaves to the UniParty.   We just watched the newly elected GOP House fight over installing an establishment politician as Speaker.    All republicans except for 20 were just fine putting the establishment guy in.

And just before that, we watched the GOP senate sell all of us out with a god awful pathetic fucking excuse of a budget bill so the Turtle could sabotage the new incoming congress on the budget.

I'm done with the establishment types and the RINO's.

Trivia notes: Technically false. First, they tend to be loyal to their principles, not principals. Secondly, in 1972 Roger MacBride, a Republican elector from Virginia, cast his vote as a faithless elector for Libertarian presidential candidate John Hospers and vice presidential candidate Tonie Nathan. This made Nathan the first woman to ever receive an electoral vote in a presidential election.

The faithless elector, MacBride, later became the Libertarian presidential candidate in the 1976 election "campaigning on a platform of support for a free market system, a return to the gold standard, the abolition of the Federal Reserve, an end to corporate welfare, the abolition of the FCC, a foreign policy of non-interventionism, and the abolition of victimless crimes."

"MacBride rejoined the Republican Party in the 1980s and helped establish the Republican Liberty Caucus, a group promoting libertarian principles within the Republican Party."

(MacBride was co-creator and co-producer of the television series Little House on the Prairie. This was because Rose Wilder Lane had designated him as heir to her and her mother's estates.)

Thinking back some, a lot of this arises from writing bills that give the power to the unelected bureaucrats that run the Government these days. I don't believe that was ever intended to happen, but here we are.

Our "elected" officials don't even read the legislation they vote on.  And that legislation is not written by them, it's written by staff who are a part of permanent Washington.

That's how fucked up this has become.   We no longer have a government "of the people".

And nobody is going to do a damn thing about it.

Permanent Washington is entrenched, operating the forth branch of government, the Intelligence Branch.  Included in that is the Censorship Industrial Complex.   They are firmly in control.

The FBI is getting a new building supposedly larger than the Pentagon.  The police state is here and growing.

Ever wonder the purpose of "Defund the Police"?   In a nutshell, this is a movement to defund local and state level police agencies and REPLACE them with federal level police.

  It's time for secession.

kind of makes me wonder what the dims are trying to distract attention from...

Our economy is on the brink.  For those paying attention, several events have recently occurred that will eventually remove the dollar as the reserve currency.  Couple that with the bank failures and inflation and the FJB totally fucking our economy, we are looking at a situation that will be worse than the Great Depression.

Now add in the Ukraine mess, and how close the world is now to WW3.

The republicans in congress have the receipts on FJB and his family corruption.    Oh, and don't forget the Nordstream pipeline that FJB had destroyed, which is an act of war.

  Distraction?   You bet.
