They are wrong. There is cryptography in embedded objects which could only be faked if you knew the encoding passphrase,and that was known only to the person who sent the original email.
The liberal who told you this is a tech lamer. They should keep to areas that they actually know something about rather than spouting opinions that are literally ignorant.

The liberal/progressive obsession with identity politics in itself is extremely destructive, and divisive to our society, and culture. And that is the goal. I know it's hard for you to fathom that the world doesn't conform to the broad brush with which you attempt to paint it. I will not vote for the criminal. Nor will I vote for the buffoon. But your attitude, and the attitude of those like you, who make it clear that the world is either with you, or is a mental case, helps drive leagues of people away from your side. You might as well just start giving rides to the polls and helping people tick the box for Hillary.

The FBI found them while looking for Weiner's pictures of little girls. Or maybe they were investigating Human Abedin's ties between Hillary and ISIS since she had such firm footing in both camps.
What I think they accidentally found is obstruction of justice by Hillary.
