I love reading Pilot Spin multiple times a day. Doing so has helped me stay sane through two major surgeries in the last three months.
Thank you all for the cogent and thought-provoking, and sometimes funny (not yours, Steingar) posts.
But the best of all is that we are not moderated. I knew I could share this here with confidence that it will assist you all with your Christmas gifting this year.
Yours,
Becky

Wow, sorry to hear about the surgeries, Becky. I hope you’re on the mend and ready to mix it up here again!
That’s an interesting site. I’ll have to check it out later.
-
Hope everything is going to be okay and you are working back to full health.
-
Good luck Becky! Feel better soon. :)

Best of luck. Hope to see you around here more once you've recovered.
-
Get well Becky! Thoughts and prayers!

How many more sugeries before the transition is complete.
And what will we be calling you then? ;D
But seriously, hope you recover soon.

Hope the procedures go well. And I do hope you give a thought to all those left leaning scientists and researchers who made it so those procedures could be carried out safely. What do you know, academia can be more than a bastion of evil.

I was hesitant to say this - but that sounds crazy! ;D
Ah, surgeries - I've been through several:
Hernia repair.
Strabismus surgery (crossed eyes.)
Gallstone removal (excruciatingly painful - I was given the largest stone as a souvenir.)
Stay healthy!

;D No one had trouble recognizing me in recovery. I still identify as Becky.

Have you ever noticed how freely you generalize about others whilst loudly lambasting them for doing the same?
I wrote a thank you letter to the surgeons and staff for saving my life. The first surgery was of the emergency type. I am grateful for all people who have chosen to enter the healing professions, and I let them know so whenever I encounter them.

Let me help you out before you break your arm patting yourself on the back.

This study was published in the NYT, from data taken at Yale. As these two sources are about the most biased liberal bastions of thought today - I would say the data is not just credible, but the conservative/liberal bias is actually significantly higher than reported. It's almost a guarantee that the entire surgical staff, including the nursing care, and rehab are conservative. The fact that they learned their craft in 'bastion of evil' and yet still choose to leave the cradle of liberalism and go the right way, speaks more than volumes.

Pilotspin as sanity alignment? Well - if you say so. 8)
Glad to hear you're on the mend. Stay vertical as much as you can. We're here to serve, but - you owe a duty to post more. It's an interactive sport.

Becky: thanks for mixing it up with me.
-
Ouch! Two major surgeries in three months! Hopefully the problems are solved and recovery is the last step.
-
Hope you continue to recover well!
