The R's are already bending over for the Bump Stock and the D's are saying very clearly that this only the beginning.

They are at risk of fucking up the 2nd amendment - Ryan and McConnell must go and they must go now.

We are seeing epic levels of stupid from all sides, I cannot stand this shit anymore.

I never knew that bump stocks existed.  Now that I have seen them and understand them, my opinion is that they exist solely to circumvent existing law and they should be illegal to manufacture or to possess.

 Sorry, disagree.

This is a very slippery slope, and one the progressives are hoping we start sliding down.  It's the same argument that we shouldn't be allowed clips with more than 5 rounds, that somehow by limiting clip size one could prevent a mass shooting.   Bullshit.

And it also follows the bullshit mantra about "assault weapons".  Since there is really no such thing as an assault weapon it gives the left a broad brush to make any gun they choose illegal.

The second amendment is a very clear and concise:  "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Wouldn't it infuriate the liberals if a Christian filmmaker DEMANDED Michael Moore direct a Scripturally correct Biblical movie that violates every one of his bigoted notions about Christianity then sue his fat ass for refusing.

If fat boy directs movies then he should be COMPELLED to make a film that violates his every belief.

THe court would never find against a liberal, however. Only Christians are subject to forced labor.

The left has always hated the Constitution because it protects rights instead of granting them.  Notice how over the years though they continually make up rights to things like health care.  They've got their nose under the tent through these efforts.

I am not very religious.  You don't have to believe in God to believe that we have Natural Rights as human beings.  Nobody gives them to us, they exist due to our condition.  The Constitution only guarantees government won't infringe upon them.

Totally agree.  I should have said that if you deny Natural Rights, regardless of the source, then the Constitution cannot be understood in context.

What a maroon.

Whether you believe in God as the source of inalienable rights or not, I think you have to acknowledge that the Constitution was written in light of that belief and to be properly understood, it must be understood in that context.  Otherwise it just makes no sense.  Maybe that is why the Left has such trouble with it?

After cursory reading, it sounds like the baker in question denied baking a cake based on anti-discrimination laws in the state of Colorado. How did anyone find out why the baker denied services?

It sounds like SCOTUS will hear the case, so we will find out if a first amendment claim can supercede a state's anti discrimination law. Should be entertaining to see how it plays out.
Should be entertaining as hell when the baker goes bankrupt after paying the legal fees necessary to bring a case all the way up to SCOTUS, all because the plaintiff didn't move on and chose a baker happy and willing to make them a cake.

What do I care if someone decides not to bake a cake? That's up to the baker.

Several left-leaning states have said it's not up to the baker, it's up to the consumer, and that the baker had to bake a cake, or no cake baking at all. Further, they've enforced it with a ban on the baker earning a living.

Did you see that Aaron Hernandez had stage 3 CTE?
It shouldn't be bothering him any more.

So you can get past your anger, think about it and understand it from another perspective.  Try my shoes on for a day or two.

But then again you got me wondering....(see post #7 and below)
What?  Oh boo hoo.  I've never known a Marine to play the victim. Ever.  Everyone has a story. Everyone. But most of us just move on to try and make tomorrow a better day.

Whatever these disrespectful protests are supposed to represent - and if you take Kappernick at his word, the protests are against this country - then there is nothing that can be done to fix their issues in our lifetimes.

In the mean time, the players, with the consent of the league and the owners, have taken the single most unifying thing provided by sports and turned it into a divisive slap in the face to the majority of the very same customers that pay their bills. It's moronic.

I just wish the left would make up their mind.  Should an employee inject their beliefs into work or not.

Why is it OK for an NFL player for force his customers to endure his beliefs, but not ok for a baker?  To the Left, the difference is entirely about which one they personally agree with plus the fact that the Left doesn't actually want the country to become better.

So how many know what the protest is over...?

IT DOESN'T MATTER.

My dad and most of family grew up in WI, not far from Green Bay. I lived in Denver during the big Elway years, and lived in SoCal during some big NFL years there. I've been spoiled by great pro football almost all my life. While I don't buy any NFL gear, and I'm not much of a 'rah-rah' kind of guy, but for years I followed the corp sponsors, and did business with them

No more.
Cut up my Visa card, going with MC unless they endorse the NFL.
My last truck was a Ford, current one is a Dodge, won't be going back to Ford.
Switched from an A-B beer to a different brand(this hurt, I like beer).
And while I don't have a choice in computer OS, I won't be buying any Microsoft gear if I can help it.

So long suckas! My Sundays will be spent in other pursuits.
I sent this to McDonald's, Mars, Campbell's yesterday modified for each product category. I'll get around to the rest as able. I don't follow NFL games but found I have been unwittingly supporting their sponsors.
Your sponsorship of the NFL requires me to use my money to purchase something other than :
Skittles
Snickers
Mars bars
for me and my three grandchildren. I will vote with my dollars  until it hurts. My grand kids love the snacks I provide they will not understand at first but as they grow in this land of opportunity they will.

So some idiots refused to stand in London for our National Anthem, but came out and stood for the British. Do these retards not know that slavery was allowed by the British when our colonies were founded? What a bunch of morons.
