Expect that this is going to be a kangaroo court with democrats in charge. They can approve / decline whatever evidence they want. This will be a made for media shit show.So where is it written they can hold a trial without a sitting judge?

Now we are in uncharted waters. Seems the Chief Justice read the Constitution and will not preside over the trial of citizen Trump.
Where does that leave us?
Can the Senate conduct a trial without the Chief Justice?
By what authority would they be able to do that?

Here is my view. For some, SARS -Cov-2 is extremely deadly. I'm not even sure we have data that totally supports what the subset is. I certainly believe it exists as I know at least a dozen people that have had it, all have recovered. My wife and I take simple, common sense precautions to avoid it. We only wear a mask where absolutely required. Our restaurants have been open since April 24th and we eat out roughly twice a week and at numerous different restaurants. Our AMC theaters have been open since August. We've been to see a movie somewhere around forty times. When shopping, I make it habit to not get face to face with others. I maintain some distance. Wash my hands when necessary and use sanitizer sparingly.
I have friends that are in the scared to death category. I know no one that feels it does not exist.

In Georgia two Senate Subcommittee meetings were held about election fraud. Out of those two meetings a vote was taken to have absentee ballots in question secured and given to Jovan Pultizer to be analyzed. To date, that has not happened. The Georgia legislature is now in session and those Senators that were part of those hearings have had committee assignments removed as political retribution for going against the Governor and his SoS, who BTW made the deal with dominion and illegally accepted the consent decree with Stacy Abrams group.

The video I watched (PBS) you could clearly hear him say, "Salute the Marines" I concede that point. At issue is what prompted him to say that. You say the command came through an ear piece, yet refuse to provide evidence of said ear piece.
There will be plenty of things to deride this administration for, I think ear piece gate is not one of them. Carry on.
