Since when do Repubs line up like toy soldiers to fall en masse? We tussle amongst ourselves. Dems can’t put one toe off the die-hard libocrat plantation or there’s howling hell to pay. I’ll never forget that Dem congressman who stood to clap at Trump’s first SOU. The glares from his seated Dem cohorts cast him quickly back down in his seat, actually crouching.
This is what’s killing the Dems. They can’t move, or talk, or work toward progress in any direction if it involves going along with something that’s actually beneficial to Americans. This very feature is driving Dems to the right in their thousands. I read dozens of their testimonials on #WalkAway every day. The Kavanaugh hearings brought a flood of new WalkAways, Dems leaving in disgust at the low, low behavior of their party leaders, televised for all to see.
Our blue state’s GOP candidate for senator says our current and longstanding Dem senator is literally prevented by her very party from votes and actions that would benefit Americans.

That's the new precedence the alt left is trying to promote and get embedded within our justice system. They would like to see "innocent until proven guilty" removed and replaced with "guilty until proven innocent". This makes it much easier to attack and smear their enemies.
Of course, if you are Keith Ellison, Bill Clinton, Sen Menendez or a host of liberal predators with actual incriminating evidence, this does not apply.
And a final point: I know the perfesser is enjoying the latest show by his beloved alt left progressives, but he better keep one thing in mind. He's merely a useful idiot in their eyes, and one day he may get a "meetoo" student in his class who decides she didn't get a good enough grade, and he will be faced with allegations of misconduct and sexual abuse. The democrat party was founded on racism, hate and bigotry and carefully cultivated this since the inception. It was not until they turned their party over to the communist have we seen it escalated to the violent political party they now are.

I think that televising the hearings was a major mistake by the Dems. The unwashed masses could see for themselves what was going on and how badly the Dems were behaving. They had actual facts in front of them, and not the highly spun and filtered opinions through the MSM. I actually believe that most people have a sense of right and wrong, and the wrongness of the hearing was on display for all to see. Live and in color.

Agreed. The hearing (smearing) of Kavanaugh has galvanized conservatives and republicans, as well as fair minded moderate democrats into making sure these alt left progressives don't get into positions of power come November.
The sunday talk shows had the progressives desperately spinning this lat weeks events trying to alter the narrative to their favor.

A heavy read, right now I'm working on "On Liberty", written in 1859 by John Stuart Mills. There is an entire section devoted to exactly this topic - about how the more that a group resists any discussion or criticism of their "right" ideas, the more likely is is to be discovered to be wrong exactly because it has never been tested and proven. If you are absolutely sure you are right, then you welcome criticism of ideas because they make your good ideas stronger.
