Title: DuckingDonald.com
Post by: nddons on January 26, 2016, 09:46:42 PM
So, Trump is apparently afraid of Megan Kelly, and has withdrawn from the Thursday debate.  What a fucking pussy.  It's just like Hillary who has limited every opportunity to expose herself to questioning.

In a brilliant move, within hours of the announcement Ted Cruz set up a website at DuckingDonald.com.

I think this will benefit Ted Cruz, and hurt Trump. But I don't put it past showman Trump to pull his head out of his ass and claim to make a "deal" with Roger Ails and ultimately show up at the debate in a grand entrance.

Probably all part of the show. The Donald likes a good show.

I do not think Trump can win Iowa. Then the pretend love affair the press is having with Donald is because they think they can skewer him all the way until their master, hilary is in the white house will end.

The debates are meaningless. They are nothing more than a "bitch fest" and are cash cows for the network. Nothing comes out of these but sound bites that get played over and over on the news programs.

Meygen Kelly is a media whore, period.  She reminds me of the line in the song "dirty laundry".

Funny thing about this, Trump once again controls the media. Non stop coverage of him refusing the debate, and Fox will loose viewers because of it. And of course, Trump will still have the majority of time during the debate as the moderators will continue to talk about him, and the other candidates will keep crying about him.

And his campaign will gain strength.     Brilliant.

Exactly.  It is ALL ABOUT HER and her RATINGS.  Plus her boobs are too small.

Once again Trump becomes the major story with massive coverage.  I'm starting to think the guy is a genius.

FYI - Reagan skipped the last debate before Iowa - so this is not without precedent.

I have not watched Megan's show since her awful performance at the first debate - totally unprofessional and completely turned me off on her and Fox in general.

Not a fan of the debate setup and after the RNC pulled the debate that could have been actually substantive I wasn't planning on watching any of them anyway.

It is all a goat rope and kabuki theater with no real value for anybody other than the networks and presumably the RNC.

Here is an interesting article that might explain some of the Fox antagonism toward Trump.

Sorry, he's a douche.  Every day the similarities between Obama and Trump become more and more clear:

Cult of personality
Egomaniacal
Narcissistic personalty disorder
His way or the highway
Thin skinned - unable to accept criticism
Think they are the most intelligent man in the room
Constitution is meaningless
Etc.

So how do you explain Trump being on Hannity's show something like 144 times since he became a candidate?

MATH!! Well played, sir. :)

Actually I'm not that clever. It's a number that I heard Hannity use on his show at some point.

Ok, some of those I can see, but the constitution is meaningless part,  examples please.  There are so many lies about this guy it's tough to cut through the BS.

When he says "I will do this" and "I will do that" he implies that he's going to go alone if necessary, same as Obama. I could be wrong. I hope I am.

But lies, Paul?  Why don't you tell me the truth about Trump. What do we know about him except his wall will be beautiful and his support is HUGE?  He certainly hasn't told us how he's going to do things in his debates and speeches.

And the facts we DO KNOW point to his very recent background as a democrat and supporting liberal causes. That's what we know. Now he's made a constant rate 180 degree turn, and we should believe he's a conservative?

Reagan started out as a Democrat.  During the election of 1980 we heard Reagan wasn't electable, he was too extreme, he hasn't explained in detail on how he will accomplish things in office, etc, etc.

We also were told "he's just an actor".

Reagan became a conservative, and became a Republican in 1962!  He had 18 years of fighting the conservative fight against both the establishment and the democrats before winning the nomination. Read or listen to his "A Time for Choosing" speech from 1964, in which he gave in support for Barry Goldwater. That speech essentially designated Reagan the spokesman for the conservative movement.

Have you ever - EVER - heard a full throated defense of conservatism from Trump before?  I have not. He's a poser, IMO.

I get it. I like what he says about immigration. Good for him. That's the thing that is giving Skelator - I mean Ann Coulter - orgasms. But that does not baptize him as a conservative in my book.

That's what I'm looking for, those facts of which you speak. The facts that support as you say his support, up until recently, of liberal causes, I don't see that when I really look.  Yes he has contributed to democrats when it benefited his business, part of the reason he has been so successful.  But from what I see, when I weed out the hatchet job that is being done him by both the DNC and RNC, I see a guy who has pretty much always claimed to be a republican and relatively conservative.

Help me out here.   I prefer Cruz, right now anyway, but the more I look at Trump, the more I like him.  Furthermore, he will be a force to be reckoned with should he get in, not like the pansy assed losers like McCain and McConnell or, unfortunately Ryan.

I've never heard Trump advocate a single conservative policy except when he's on the ballot, let alone a full throated defense of conservatism.

That's pretty damn good ratings if 70,000,000 people are watching (20% of 350,000,000)

80% of those polled.  I don't think they polled the entire country.

Polls take a representative sample and are applicable to the population as a whole.  That's their point.
