Saw a story last about a guy that went back to his place to get his pets. He got back out but the heat from the fire melted trim on his car.

All of these amateurs dealing with the heat of raging fires........that's a spring morning down here!

LOL!  Must be.  When I lived in Lexington, KY, I'd fly the Tiger down to Sevierville, TN (KGKT) to go to the Smoky Mountains.  It is a pretty area, with nice scenery.  It is a shame it is burning, but that is the way forests regenerate.  There is a neat little aviation museum at Sevierville Airport.
