For all the whining some do about echo chambers, I question whether they recognize the ultimate echo chamber:
Colleges and universities.
Consider how quickly colleges and universities cancel appearances by conservative speakers, censure conservative student newspapers, etc.

It's not just Colleges and Universities that are just about 100% Far Left Progressive FASCISTS, it is the Media, Entertainment, Social Media, Tech, Metro areas, and other institutions and corporations that have been taken over. The election of Trump was a MIRACLE.
We have been in an era of soft tyranny for a while now, and Trump is merely a bump in the road for the Democrats and their supporters. They are in it for the long haul to Fundamentally Transform the U.S. into a European like socialist state, or worse.

There was a video I posted a while back I’ll see if I can find it. Two university psychologists are talking about this subject and how it came about. Right now, about 90% of university professors identify as Democrat or liberal. It did not use to be this way, a few decades ago it was an even split. But once one side gets at about a 90% majority, they become intolerant of the minority, and begin trying to eliminate them. That’s what’s going on today at our colleges and universities.

Nothing to back this up, but I"d say that once one side reaches around 65-70% they begin to dominate and try to subdue and get rid of the other side. Maybe even less than 70%. It would otherwise never get to 90% naturally, unless one side were obviously devious.

The left might as well be burning books. Tearing down statues, indoctrinating the young with lies, removing portraits of white men founders from universities, in general SUPPRESSING DISSENT ... yet our Democrat friends smugly go about their days, claiming tolerance whilst irrationally loathing the one man who goes about HIS days tirelessly fighting to restore Constitutional rights FOR ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS and to expose the lies being thrust upon the citizenry.

I think you're right. Actually I know you are. They've been doing it since the 60s. I found a letter among my father's things from a professor friend of his. In it, the man tells my father how he was targeted and eliminated.
Well here, I found it. The letter is dated October 9, 1973, and he talks about what happened at St. Cloud, MN during the 60s. The last sentence is cut off because that's the biggest my snipper would snip, but he goes on to say the guy promised to give him a good recommendation and that they would destroy the lies they'd put in his file, but he found out later that they didn't, because he found himself blacklisted and unable to get another job.

Yep. I heard Jordan Peterson talk about the communist movement in France, where they renamed it something else, neo modernism or something I forget, but that it is Marxism pure and simple, and many of them came over to the U.S. and Canada in the 1960s and infested the universities and that was the root of the progressive leftist culture today at the universities.
Then when I found this letter, I couldn't believe my eyes! Not that I doubted Peterson, but right here was evidence that what he said was true.
