Cruz is absolutely right.  However the last time the CDC was funded to examine gun related deaths and injuries, the results were suppressed as it told just the opposite to what the narrative the gun grabbers wanted it to tell.  Legally owned guns, used by law abiding citizens SAVE LIVES and deter criminals from committing violent crime.

However, gun use is NOT A DISEASE and we already have the FBI providing statistical analysis on crime committed by CRIMIANLS using guns.  The CDC should not be funded in an attempt to justify the removal of Second Amendment Rights.
