He has admitted to many self-biographical lies, so making consequential financial lies appears perfectly plausible.
Edit to add that Biden somehow managed to survive a similar set of lies a few decades ago. The opposition party didn't think it needed to go in for the kill.

I can’t help but think it is but we can’t give up. Even if Trump wins in 2024, (well, we know he’ll win, but I mean if he is actually inaugurated) he may be a speed bump in the way of it, but he can’t stop it. It’s too deep and wide. We are destined to become a dictatorship. Still a great country, for a while, but the dismantling of capitalism (not crony capitalism but individual private enterprise) will eventually grind us down economically until we can no longer dominate the world stage.
* our military is being weakened by 1) young people are too fat to enlist 2) young people don’t want to enlist 3) we aren’t making many young people anymore
* our culture is being destroyed and replaced by the approved multiculturalism which is actually a monolithic dogma
* the talent that ran this country is retiring and the young are not replacing it sufficiently to maintain the economy
* the currency is being destroyed
* centralized economic systems will be put in place that will further erode quality of life such as universal healthcare, by removing the profit motive that drives innovation and excellence
* shortages will become normal, as we won’t get our own coal and oil out of our own ground, we continue to lose the people that maintain the infrastructure and supply chain and food and power production, and worsening relations with China
But we will continue to limp along as a super power for another century or two, at most, but make no mistake: We are in decline and have already lost the soul that made us what we were. We will remain that shell until the inevitable breakup.

I don't fear AI, I fear those that control the AI. The current generation of potential military recruits have been conditioned from birth to be kind, gentle, gender neutral (boys CAN'T be boys), everyone gets a trophy, never keep score in games, it's not about competition but about cooperation, love, peace, and all that crap. They have also been conditioned to lash out against "the others" on social media and get very, very good at video games.
So the natural progression is to have remote armies via drones in the Middle East controlled from Nevada, and autonomous whenever possible. Check out what Boston Dynamics is up to. https://www.bostondynamics.com/atlas Amazingly agile robots. Thousand pounds of steel charging at you surrounded by robot dogs surrounded by armed mini-drones. Imagine a line of Boston Dynamic robots surrounding the capitol. Think anyone will try to get in? Or surrounding a pride parade. No protests allowed.
The current youngest generation is being neutered for a reason. And it's to allow AI and robots to take the military, then the police, and then.... what? After all, when no one is fit to fight, what other option is there? Robot / AI farms supplying Soylent to the mass cities. Blade Runner plus RoboCop plus Terminator. Yay.

Great... now that I've searched on EMP rifles I'm sure that I'm on some list. Cool technology out there, though.
But I suspect that any EMP strong enough to take out a killer robot would be beyond the reach of the ordinary citizen.

And also most of the people developing AI come from the public schools and the universities that have trained them all in communism, wokology, etc. The AI is biased left from the get go.
