Title: Bill to ban the b-word
Post by: President-Elect Bob Noel on October 22, 2019, 04:51:33 AM
A massachusetts rep has filed a bill (at the request of a constituent) that would ban the b-word.

It isn't too difficult to think of other words/phrases that people might want to ban because the words/phrases are used to "accost, annoy, degrade, or demean."

Well, that's a bitch.

Bring it.  They really have no business telling us which words we can use.

If they had their way the Left would classify any statements they didn't like as Hate Speech, ban it and jail anyone that disagreed with them.

No. Derivatives not allowed either. Or phrases like “resting snitch face.”

On a related note, a few years ago Oregon went through all its geographic names with “Squaw” in them, like “Squaw Creek” and the like, and re-named them.

Prosperity has ruined us.

And trans activists forced P&G to remove the "female" symbol from its Always pads.

Quote
Always announced it will remove the Venus symbol from its menstruation products packaging following calls by transgender advocates, who said its parent, Procter & Gamble, was alienating trans and gender-nonconforming customers by not acknowledging that they, too, can experience menstruation.

These progressives are just plain mentally ill.  They are NUTS.  No other term for it.

Squaw!  There I said it!  Warren comes to mind.

Until recently, "squaw" was not a derogatory term.

Until recently, "fagot" meant a bundle of sticks.

Until recently, "homophobic" would be an irrational fear of homosexuality or homosexuals.

Until recently, the term "assault weapon" didn't exist.

Until recently, "gay" means lighthearted and carefree.

The death of our language continues... (even I, who were a engineer, recognize the death spiral)

Yep. Fag also was a cigarette.

The homophobic and xenophobic really angers me. "Phobia" is fear. The literal definition of these terms is very narrow; someone who has an IRRATIONAL fear of homosexuals or foreigners. This condition is extremely rare. It does not apply to a person who for example, resents illegal aliens for taking taxpayer resources, but has no problem with a legal foreign visitor, even though they might also be the recipient of resources, for example attending a taxpayer supported university. Nor does it apply to someone who feels the homosexual act is sinful, yet has no problem sitting beside a homosexual on an airplane. That isn't "phobia".

The language is being butchered.

A little newspeak anyone?
