In an amazing example of typical media doublespeak, Newsweek here asserts that McAfee being killed is a conspiracy theory, while dumping tons of evidence that McAfee was not only not suicidal but had repeatedly warned that he was being targeted.

Mainstream media:  not only can you assume what they say is 180 degree opposite to the truth, they post a picture of the emperor completely naked while saying he has clothes.  And we’re supposed to buy it.
