Bernie Moreno, endorsed by President Trump beat both establishment stampers in the Ohio US senate primary tonight.

The deep state is to going to like that. The treason gang will be cooking up another pack of lies by tomorrow morning trying to find something to hang on President Trump.

What they need is a swift trial and a firing squad.

Over a double Latte, the Greek mentions "We built the Parthenon you may recall, along with the Temple of Apollo."
"Aye, and it was the Irish that discovered the Summer and Winter solstices."

"But it was the Greeks who gave birth to mathematics."

"Granted, but it was the Irish who built the first timepieces."

Knowing that he's about to deliver the coup de grace, the son of Athens points out with a note of finality: "Keep in mind that it was the ancient Greeks who invented the notion of sex as a pleasurable activity!"
"Aye! True enough, but it was the Irish who got women involved.

After a few years of married life, a man finds that he is unable to perform.

He goes to his doctor, and his doctor tries a few things but nothing works. Finally, the doctor says to him "This is all in your mind" and refers him to a psychiatrist.

After a few visits, the shrink confesses, "I am at a loss as to how you could possibly be cured." Eventually, the psychiatrist refers him to a witch doctor.

The witch doctor says, "I can cure this." He throws some powder on a flame, and there is a flash of billowing blue smoke. The witch doctor says "This is powerful healing, but you can only use it once a year! All you have to do is say '123' and it shall rise for as long as you wish!"

The guy then asks the witch doctor "What happens when it's over?" The witch doctor says "All you or your partner has to say is '1234' and it will go down. But be warned; it will not work again for a year!"

The guy goes home and that night he is ready to surprise his wife with the good news. So, he is lying in bed with her and says "123," and suddenly he gets an erection.

His wife turns over and says "What did you say '123' for?"

A WIFE'S EULOGY AT HER HUSBAND'S FUNERAL

 "Norman needed a blood transfusion,

but his blood type was not on record,

so the doctors asked me if I knew what it was.

They urgently needed to know, to save Norman's life.

Tragically, I had never known his blood type,

so I only had time to sit and say goodbye.

I'll never forget how supportive my Norman was.

Even as he was fading away, he kept on whispering to me,

"Be positive, be positive!”

That was my Norman!  Always optimistic and thinking of others."

The Presbyterian Church called a meeting to decide what to do about their squirrel infestation.  After much prayer and consideration, they concluded that the squirrels were predestined to be there, and they should not interfere with God’s divine will.

At the Baptist Church, the squirrels had taken an interest in the baptistery.  The deacons met and decided to put a water slide on the baptistery and let the squirrels drown themselves.  The squirrels liked the slide and, unfortunately, knew instinctively how to swim, so twice as many squirrels showed up the following week.

The Lutheran Church decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God’s creatures.  So, they humanely trapped their squirrels and set them free near the Baptist church.  Two weeks later, the squirrels were back when the Baptists took down the water-slide.

The Episcopalians tried a much more unique path by setting out pans of whiskey around their church in an effort to kill the squirrels with alcohol poisoning.  They sadly learned how much damage a band of drunk squirrels can do.

But the Catholic Church came up with a more creative strategy!  They baptized all the squirrels and made them members of the church.  Now they only see them at Christmas and Easter.

Not much was heard from the Jewish Synagogue.  They took the first squirrel and circumcised him.  They haven’t seen a squirrel since.

Spin Zone / Re: Immigration.

Unfortunately the communist have blurred the difference between illegal immigration (invaders) and immigration, so much so that people can't understand the difference.

What we have right now isn't covered under the immigration laws, policy and procedures.  It's an outright invasion of our country, and is being promoted by the president.   What FJB has done, and is still doing rises to high crimes and misdemeanors, yet congress is too feckless to do anything about it.

We actually have laws to deal with people illegally entering our country, but again the laws are ignored.  We now have legions of military aged men we know nothing about inside our country, as well as people associated with terrorist groups.   Add in that countries like Venezuela have emptied their prisons by sending them here as we witness crime rising.

Next on the agenda is the communist in congress will demand amnesty for all the "newcomers".

You weren't spending money back then on the newest iphone, high speed wifi, multiple streaming services, starbucks, etc. It's a spending/saving problem, not an income problem.
I'm also seeing that most young people these days want to buy the same kind of house their parents have now rather than settle for something they can afford and work their way up.  And they're frustrated that their gender studies degree won't land them a job they can live on.

Me too, we had interest rates around that. There seems to be a difference now though. Young people seem unable to afford to buy a house.  But my husband and I could when we were young, even with those interest rates. Is it that the prices are higher than they were back then (adjusted)?  Is it that the young people aren’t earning as much?  Is that because fewer women worked back then? (Dumping women into the workforce created more supply and lowered salaries and wages?)  Or is it because they aren’t marrying and are trying to buy homes by themselves?

There’s a different feel this time around.

I am not claiming this is the primary cause but perhaps it is also contributing. In some sense houses are more sophisticated now and may thus just cost more in real dollars. There is also a lot more regulation and code compliance which likely drives up prices. Many municipalities have actually banned things like the small house movement which was designed to provide more smaller but livable spaces.

I believe the opposite of what I'm told by the Feds.
You can trust that any bill before congress does exactly the opposite of what its title says.  The "Border security bill" does nothing but allow more illegals into the country.

That does make sense.  Thanks!  I'm expecting a total meltdown from the MSM and the left that will be fun to watch.

An update.  My CFII is working on clearing out some primary students and I'm working on clearing out my schedule.  I feel that flying with the CFII only once or so a week isn't helpful to rapid progress so we're delaying until mid-April.  Twice a week was good, but there were too many days canceled due to weather.  So now we'll fly three times a week on a regular schedule until done.  In the meantime I'll focus on precision flying, ATC communications (for real), and all that.
