Earth Day 2020 has arrived to find environmental groups struggling to keep people focused on the alleged climate crisis now that the coronavirus pandemic has stolen their limelight.
“Climate change is a moral, religious and justice issue,” proclaims the official Earth Day website as the yearly commemoration celebrates its 50th birthday on April 22 in the absence of fanfare or large public gatherings.
Whereas in 1970 Earth Day focused on clean air, land, and water, it has gradually shifted its attention to global warming and carbon dioxide emissions as these topics have taken center stage among environmentalists.
I remember the First Earth Day in 1970. It was the beginning of the modern Progressive movement in many ways, but the goals of clean air and clean water were admirable. In the past fifty years, we have managed to successfully reduce air and water pollution.
Now, the goal is different. Drastically reduce CO2 "Carbon" which is NOT A POLLUTANT but what the Left believes cause Man Made Climate Change. They want to sue ti for Social and Economic "JUSTICE" purposes and to redistribute wealth and income making Government all powerful.
Now little 17 year old Great Thunberg wants to combine the Corona Virus with the Climate Change hysteria.

The global Chinese coronavirus pandemic and the “climate crisis” should be tackled together, Swedish climate worrier Greta Thunberg told an Earth Day event on Wednesday.
“Today is Earth Day and that reminds us that climate and the environmental emergency is still ongoing and we need to tackle both the corona pandemic … at the same time as we tackle climate and environmental emergency, because we need to tackle two crises at once,” the 17-year-old said, according to Reuters.
