House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has finally released the 41,000 hours of surveillance footage filmed during the Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol — but not publicly. The top Republican gave the footage to Fox News host Tucker Carlson, according to a new report in Axios.
Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks, reports Axios.
In an interview with Axios, Carlson said “there was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret.”

While Tucker can be a bit of a self-righteous blowhard, he is one person that won't be cowed into silence by the leftist media. And even if it was all released to everyone, both sides would be cherry picking choice moments to fit their narrative. At least now it won't be completely buried, lost for 2+ years like Hunter's laptop, or flat out lied about like Russian collusion.

Barry Loudermilk of Georgia, who chairs a subcommittee of the House Committee on Administration, told CBS News that a screening station was set up for the Fox News team to view videos from the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6. The staffers were not allowed to record or remove any of the videos from the screening area, he said.
The Fox News team “may request any particular clips they may need, then we’ll make sure there’s nothing sensitive, nothing classified, including escape routes,” Loudermilk said. “We don’t want al Qaeda to know certain things.”
Loudermilk said the clips requested by Fox News and cleared for release by his committee would eventually be made public and available to other media outlets, many of which have demanded equal access to the footage. Loudermilk said the timeframe for the release to Fox and the public remains unclear: “Hopefully sooner rather than later, but I think we’re talking about weeks to months.”
Mike Lindell is outraged that Speaker McCarthy is only giving the Jan 6 footage to Tucker Carlson. Mr. Lindell told Steve Bannon last week that he would sue McCarthy to get the 44,000 hours of Jan 6 footage, saying he is violating their right to Freedom of the Press and will take it to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Then we saw the usual senators and congressmen, of both parties, fall in line making similar demands.
Need any more evidence of a UniParty? They've ripped off the mask now, have lost all fear of the voters and want everyone to know we are subserviant to them, the government belongs to them, not you and I.
Then we have the Twitter hearings on how our UniParty has created a "Censorship Industrial Complex" with Big Tech and MSM to get around that pesky constitution. One comment I have about all the video, surely the videos have time stamp info but we've yet to see any with that info so we have no real way to know if any of it has been edited.

I watched it all day in real time as it was being streamed. I’ve known all along that it was mostly peaceful. The only ones armed were suspected Antifa plants armed with police batons. They were the ones bashing in windows. There was also at least one self admitted who claimed to be there as a “journalist”. At least one was among those arrested by the FBI but I don’t know if he is still in jail or was prosecuted. My sense is most of the violence was done by, or encouraged by Antifa and maybe Ray Epps (FBI plant?). Certainly not Buffalo Hat Man.
All the videos I watched are probably selectively censored or taken down by now. But the Tucker Carlson revelations are not news to me at all and isn’t to anyone who paid close attention that day.
I also know that the entire point was to protest the election certification without having investigated credible allegations of fraud, NOT to overthrow the results and declare Trump the winner. Just to refrain from certifying until the results of the election can be verified legitimate. (Which of course we know by now could not have happened.) IT WAS NOT AN ATTEMPTED COUP. That’s a fucking lie. It was in reality a mostly peaceful protest, I watched it be that the entire day. Quite unlike the 2020 riots, falsely labeled mostly peaceful by a corrupt biased media.
