This latest dust up could be the exact excuse Sanders needs to pursue his socialist revolution as an Independent, while taking his crowds with him.

There is absolutely no question that Wasserman Schulz and the DNC is in the bag for Hillary.  Why else would they limit the number of debates, hold them on Saturday nights where absolutely no one with a life would watch them, and where the "audience" questions follow Hillary's campaign website talking points verbatim?

The most embarrassing thing about being a modern democrat has to be that with the entire party to choose from, all they can come up with is the hil-da-beast, and the old communist of Vermont.

I think that a principled Socialist like Sen Sanders would be a fantastic Independent candidate for  the Presidency.  I definitely hope that he proceeds.

That would be better than a Christmas present if he were to announce that on Thursday or  Friday!

It is amazing that Fasco-Communism is now mainstream when the DNC can run three of them at once.  The media, government, and education preaches it so I guess it myst be OK.   >:(

Bernie is not likely to run as an Independent since he just joined the Democrats this year.

Bernie is not likely to run as an Independent since he just joined the Democrats this year.

He's caucused with them forever, but you're right, he's a new member. That being said, I thought he'd be more of a "maverick" than he has been.

I actually was one of the 6 people in the US who had intended to watch the dem debate on Saturday night. Then right out of the box, I heard Sanders apologize to Hitlary for something his staffer did. I shut it off.

It is now abundantly clear to me that he's nothing more than a foil and a debate practice sparring partner for the general election. It's all in the bag, all prearranged, and the coronation parties are being planned as we speak.

I have to wonder if Sanders were to run as an independent if that would have the same affect of pulling votes from Hilary in the general election that Ross Perot did on Bush in 1992?

Sure it would.  The question is how many, and would it be enough to offset the stupid things the Rs are famous for doing.

The most despicable thing about this election is the presumption that Hellery is "owed" the Presidency and the next 12 months is just a trailer for the fait accompli.

The same mentality was present during the 2008 election and then Barack Obama beat her. While it does seem as if she's the inevitable Democratic nominee, there's so much going against her it's ridiculous. With someone with her credentials and background, you'd think she wouldn't stumble or avoid the questions that she does. Let's also not forget that the bad blood that exists between the Clintons and the Obamas. I'm not convinced that Mr. Obama is going to just hand the power back over to her. She may well be indicted over the email issue, though I think it's unlikely.
