Does that mean the DNC "forfeits" and trump automatically wins? I don;t recall this ever happening in US history, wonder if there's some provision. Probably what would happen is she gets the sympathy vote and is elected by a landslide and we have President Kaine.

We need a tax revolt in this country.  We won't get it because 50% of the people don't pay Federal Income Tax.  If people would stop paying taxes en masse, then things may change.  Until then, politicians of both parties will continue to confiscate wealth from the working people.  Meanwhile, the elites in politics, and business get a pass.

The ways government comes up to tax, and fee us to death is very, very creative.  They have nothing better to do than grow their fiefdoms, and power.  More control of the populace on every level is the order of the day.  When the confiscate our legally owned firearms, then that will really be the end.  God help them.

Right, the old "I have the right to swing my arms until they hit your nose." But the expansion of Progressivism (and I use the term politely) has put the "nose" into the reach of the arms. In other words, sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.

In doing some further research, it appears this was well known back in January.  I still believe that this was, in essence, a ransom paid for the release of prisoners.  The administration can claim it was not because it is money that was owed to Iran under a judgement via international court. 

My guess is the conversation was something along the lines of, "If you will let our folks go we can make that $400M payment happen."
