After AOC and her fellow socialist democrats ruined the deal with Amazon, she had this to say:
“If we were willing to give away $3 billion for this deal, we could invest those $3 billion in our district ourselves, if we wanted to. We could hire out more teachers. We can fix our subways. We can put a lot of people to work for that money, if we wanted to,” Ocasio-Cortez said last week after the technology giant announced on Thursday that it had dropped plans to build the new headquarters in America’s largest city amid pressure from politicians and activists.
Does she not realize that "tax breaks" are funds that are NOT taken away from a business? Does she think that money is just sitting there waiting to be used? Where did she think that $3B was going to come from? (It was going to come from the $27B Revenue that Amazon was going to generate for N.Y.

That's the problem in these ultra heavy enclaves of liberalism. They vote for garbage like Pelosi, Waters, Jackson-Lee, etc who never do anything for the people they represent, yet these people just blindly keep them in office. Sandy (and her handlers) recognized that. Until Sandy gets lured away with celebrity or the dims try to primary her, she's there as long as she wants the job.

Because universities teach Keynesian economics; they don’t teach reality. Keynesian is a form of magical thinking where government money (let’s not think too hard about its origin), somehow can boost an economy with no long term negative consequences.

Sorry, the MSM elevated her to Founder status before any of us even heard of her. They were SO desperate to have a young, hip, brown female Obama that they selected her before hearing what she sounded like when she opened her yap.
Now they are stuck with her, and are hoping her handlers brief her a little better before she gets in front of a camera, which is an hourly event for her.
