How about an over/under on how long this thread lasts?

Well since there was a thread with several hundred posts over at least 2 months discussing Henning's banning was only recently closed because it violated the ROC, I'd guess the tread will have a long life, unless you offend BrYan or any MC member.
-
I give it only another day or so. ''Furthering the community'' and all lol
-
In 3...2......1......
-
Like I said before. It's all about the amount of complaints the MC gets. If nobody complains, the thread will go on and on regardless of the rules. As soon as there are complaints and there is a violation of the ROC, it will be locked. So far everyone is playing nice in that thread so it will stand, but it's a dumb thread so it will likely die on it's own.

Nope. I know that I personally reported that thread, as they were hypocritically locking threads talking about the SZ (which violated no rules) vs letting a thread about a ban go merrily on.

It is supposed to work that way, but in practice it doesn't

How do you know this? Where you once on the MC?

Well, the "Where's Henning" thread was reported to the MC shortly after it first popped up. It was left open for months afterwards, so that invalidates your assertion that once reported, it the MC will lock.

My assertion was the amount of reports, not just that it has been reported. They have tried to explain that they try to weigh the level of outrage and make a decision. Just one complaint, particularly if it comes from somebody that complains all the time, likely isn't going to shut down the thread. That's just my understanding, but I have never been on a MC and I'm not privy to those conversations.
I personally hold no grudge against anybody over at POA. I think they have tried to keep it together and have done OK. I think shutting down the Spin Zone was a mistake, but who am I to say? They seem to be carrying on just fine without it. It is obvious to anybody that participates in online forums that given enough time, personalities emerge and cliques form, just like in real life. This forum is no different. Sometimes a clique dominates and drives policy at the forum. It is what it is.

I see Bryan has started another thread and of course, put his dick references in. That guy sure has an obsession.
Someone called him out on it. Look for that poster to get suspended shortly when Bryan goes crying to his brofriend on the MC.
-
Why the obsession with Bryan? Seems like a good guy.

I never go there any more unless I want to see if Jonesy updated his thread. But that might be interesting to watch if your prediction is true.

As several have stated, his childish humor, constant dick obsessions and attitude become old very quickly. And he showed his true self when he came on this board as "FarLeftTeaParty".

he is a good indicator of where POA went.

I agree. At least here we are all eligible to receive "The Order of Lenin", or perhaps the "Knight's Cross".
One does never know. Do one?

I'll believe you if you can pass this simple test.
Do you have a penis obsession?

I'm fine with awards, so long as nobody tries to award real ones like the MoH or the VC.
Although, I am entitled to this one:

I don't know myself. He seems OK to me. Pretty goofy, but nice enough. He's definitely the softer side of POA.
-
Ok, you've got me on that one. What is it?
It means he's lived in Alberta for 100 years. You should get a medal for that! ;)
-
I suppose this is as good a time as any:
In order (top-bottom, left to right)
Joint Meritorious Unit Award, USMC Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
