Yep. I could care less if you're gay. I do care why a gay man would choose to spend a lot of time around young boys, though.

Does that mean all straight men who choose to spend time around young girls are pedophiles?

https://nypost.com/2019/02/01/boy-scouts-will-allow-girls-for-first-time-in-109-years/

Oh, and it’s now Scouts BSA, not Boy Scouts, because, you know, we all need to be inclusive.

Bonding of gender segregated groups is a normal and necessary part of social development.  Apparently the post doesn’t mind articulating this fact wrt females - where is the male counterpart?

Quote
“A big advantage of all-girl groups, at this age, is that their members don’t have to worry nearly as much about behaving so as to get approval from males,” says professor Robin Lakoff, an expert in gender at the University of California, Berkeley. “They learn to develop self-confidence and skills of all kinds, without worrying that boys will find them too bossy.”

Isn’t it equally important for boys to learn stuff together without worrying about girls being there?

Well, from my undersranding if it's a church sponsored pack they can exclude gay adults if they know they are gay.

And that’s the rub, isn’t it.

I'm not worried about girls, it's the creepy gay men wearing neckerchiefs (Yes I'm biased about this. I don't care. The boy scouts have a bad history of knowing about abuse and covering it up). This troop is at least church sponsored so there shouldn't be any gay adults allowed. But I hate selling crap for fundraisers, too.

No gay adults because it’s associated with a church? You want to rethink that?  ;D

I won’t comment on Rush’s post directly as I don’t want that picture to pop up, but dear God, do companies think this marketing works?  Catering to the 1% weirdos?

I don’t know if that picture is real, but apparently marketing to the trans men is a thing with them:

Wow.  Boy Scouts have to accept girls?  What the hell are the Girl Scouts for?

Maybe establishment Republicans are more afraid of MAGA Republicans than they are of Democrats. And a lot of Trump endorsed candidates are winning primaries.

Did we see the same show recently talking about this? I don't recall the show ATM, sleep deprivation.

No, I don’t recall anything like that.

Good analysis, nails the irreconcilable differences between urban and rural.  Wants convention of states.  What she says about why Texas and Florida are sending illegals to Martha's Vineyard is spot on.

So, scorched earth?  Better to ruin the country than let Trump be president again?

Can you support that or just talking out of your ass?

So you are saying Lucifer thinks establishment Republicans would rather Biden win in 2024 than Trump?  So they’d run a third party candidate to split the “red” vote?  And you disagree that the establishment Republicans would go that far?  That they would not get behind Trump as a better alternative than the sock puppet of a commie cabal?

I’m reserving my opinion whether or not they would, but the never Trumpers on the right do seem as crazed and cult-like as the TDS sufferers on the left.

Of course, the plan is probably not to run Biden at all but find some other empty shell to front as president, but my point stands.

I had high hopes for Crenshaw, but he has increasingly gone to the establishment side of everything. What a stupid statement.  MAGA people supported him in the past.

Sent from my iPad . Squirrel!!

Yep.  I am so disappointed.  He’s still good looking though which just makes it worse.  I feel betrayed.  But he may end up on the wrong side of history.  MAGA owns the Republican Party.  These establishment Republicans don’t seem to grasp that.  Has Crenshaw looked at the polls for the 2024 presidential primary?  It’s Trump and DeSantis, period.  There are no establishment Republicans that come close, I don’t think any even break into double digits.  DeSantis is MAGA for all intents and purposes.  It’s Trump and DeSantis, nobody else, smacking establishment Reps in the face, that’s MAGA, and the legacy GOP needs to get with the program or GTFO.

I think Crenshaw got stuck in a time warp when he went to war.  I understand, I voted Republican all the way through this century.  Yay capitalism.  Yay trickle down economics.  What was the alternative?  It was a matter of Reps ruining the country slightly more slowly than Dems.  But four years of Trump changed all that.  Finally somebody who actually was for the common man, unlike the communists, liberals and Democrats who claim they’re for the common man but are anything but.

Establishment Republicans:  “Trickle down economics will lift all boats.”  But continue to grow centralized control over the economy, and waste taxpayer money on foreign aid and proxy wars.

Democrats: “Take from the rich and give to the poor!”  But take from everyone and give to themselves and go along with establishment warmongering/foreign aid.

Trump: “Cut regulations and loosen restrictions on the economy so it can boom.”  And actually did that as well as keeping us out of war.

Crenshaw can’t see that and grasp why average voters love Trump?

I’m afraid so.  I saw an interview with Dan Crenshaw where he basically called MAGA people extremists if I was understanding him right.  :(

otoh - perhaps with someone other than President Trump... when the democrats inevitability spew more lies and hatred, perhaps perhaps perhaps the independents and some democrats will see what is happening.

Hope springs eternal...

It’s very difficult when the media lies and spins everything.
