. . . Of all Bombs!
We dropped one on ISIS in Afghanistan.
Is this good or bad? (I say good).
And, peripherally, Trump says the Military has been given full authorization. In other words, the military commanders are free to make the decisions they feel necessary to win. I say hooray for that too.
We could be at a turning point. I just hope we turn the right direction.

I have been wanting to see this for more than a decade. Cut them loose. Nothing more satisfying than seeing good guys killing bad guys.
But I too am also hoping it will end up being the right thing. We've seen how our actions can go bad especially if not followed up properly. Whatever Trump does, it can be undone or worse by a subsequent President.
-
I would hate to be nearby when that thing went off. I wonder how many we have left? Probably not too many. They quoted an air force person as saying they "kicked it out the back".
I think this is a good thing, I have no sympathy for these ISIS fighters and feel they need to be squished like bugs.

What did Nixon do to bring the N. Vietnamese back to the negotiating table? Linebacker, and Linebacker II, or was it Rolling Thunder? Which were similar to the Arc Light missions the B-52's flew to bomb them "back into the stone age" (where they already were), but I believed it worked. Now we can just drop one at a time instead of carpet bombing. (Before anyone says it didn't work in Nam, that was the media (Cronkite, Hanoi Jane, etc) and the politicians that screwed that oen up.

Excellent. ISIS only understands power and this certainly showed that. It won't stop them and it may even embolden them but it certainly lets them know we'll find them wherever they are, including in tunnels.
-
Isn't calling it the Mother of All Bombs (MOAB) quite misogynistic and sexist? What's with the gender identity? I'm shaking with fear. Now where's my safe space?
One thugs for certain...tunnels no longer provide the jihadist pukes any safe space.

Wonder what the effect is underground, and to what depth and range. Above ground, sure the shock wave will liquefy you.

Unlike our enemies on the left, killing those who wish to slaughter Americans is a good endeavor. If ISIS wishes tokill mericans, killing as many as possible with as few explosions as possible is a good use of tax dollars.
Leftists only like to kill the unborn, sick, old and helpless.... oh... and anyone that dares to disagree with their sick concept of political correctness.

Clue Elizabeth Warren and the rest of the unhinged left to be outraged by Trump dropping the MOAB:

She has a point. The occasional missile strike or bomb drop is no substitute for a cogent military strategy. I am glad to see the Taliban and their ilk get theirs, and I am all for giving the military latitude, so long as they aren't butchering civilians. But what is he actually aiming at?
Given that its the Cheeto Jesus, that is a very hard call indeed. But dropping bombs is easy. Wining wars is quite a bit harder. How long have we been in Afghanistan? It has been called the Graveyard of Empires for good reason.

So what you and Lizzy want are for us to announce our battle plans for the world to see so they can change their tactics. Perfect. Nothing like announcing a surge and simultaneously announcing your withdrawal date like Obama announced to the world.
I just googled Elizabeth Warren and strategy and got nothing prior to the past few weeks. Surely such a strategist was asking the same ducking questions of Obama over the last 8 years, wasn't she?
Come to think of it, I don't recall you demanding that Obama set forth his strategy either.
-
Obama's strategy was surrender.

It looks like Allah is going to have to find 4,176 more virgins.
I thought the initial death toll from the MOAB was a little low at 36. Today I read that the toll has been increased to 94 and may rise as more bodies are uncovered.

We'll probably never know if the thing vaporized them.

How is wanting to know a strategy behind fighting a war now suddenly a weed-smokers issue?

Because it's not a war you ass wipe. It was an exercise to get their fucking attention and only pathetic, talking points shouting nitwits think it was a war.
You SO need your talking points to think because you only have what you've been allowed to think and once that's exhausted you're stuck with noise and posturing.

Number7, you're going to short out your monitor with all that spittle.

Yes, and Vietnam wasn't a war either, Korea wasn't a war either. I get it - we haven't declared war since WWII. Fine.
Ok, call it, I want a strategy behind: "Committing our soldiers to an action that can cause mass casualties".
Better?

Did he want to know Obama's strategy for fighting wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and G*d knows where else? What was the purpose again? To get Americans killed? Now that Trump, a Republican, is President all of a sudden the media, and progressives want to count every missile, and every body. How many "drone" strikes did Obama approve. It is easy when some guy is sitting in the basement bunker of some mountain outside of Colorado Springs to kill a few camels, and suspected "terrorists". What did that accomplish?

I don't want to put words in his mouth, but if he was like most liberals, he would have probably be concerned about Obama overreaching his power with the drone strikes. Even if he agreed with the drone strikes itself, he didn't like the precedent that it sets for the next guy that he may not agree with.
Steiner?

Over reaching his power? Like, "I have a pen and a phone"?

I make the meanest vodka martinis in Florida, but that is on Friday night. Other nights, it is Scotch. (The older you get, the more predictable you get).
So I'll raise a glass of Macallan to you! The old stuff.

Nope.
It's not better.
It is still babbling idiocy attempting to redefine what Donald Trump, did into a definition that you can use to attack him.
He sent a message. Period. The fact that you can't conceive of such abth No doesn't make him wrong. It just makes you myopic.
