One of his stepdaughters is also reporting he is radically progressive.  And she accused him of sexual abuse.

The left's story is coming apart faster than they want to admit, but they're still saying he's a right wing extremist.

This morning, it is reported by Depage’s ex partner and mother of his children that he previously had mentally illness. She also said that his politics align with her own, which is very progressive.  Meanwhile, CNN is still running with him being a right wing extreme mist and wondering why their ratings keep falling.

I just got a coffee from Starbucks and told them my name is Elon.  Neither the cashier nor the barista looked happy.

What did you do today to help someone on the left face their own insecurities?

and actually do something for once, we might start to reverse this.

I would not get your hopes up.

Even if they manage to get the House and Senate, Biden will still veto anything useful.  But even with just the House, they will be able to exert some legislative control, just probably not enough to "actually do something for once".

I heard one commentator say something lie, “well, what do you expect, these are the Sam people who threw snowballs at Santa Claus.”

The depths of self deception.

They are still up. For a short summary, self proclaimed gay activist showed up demanding that everyone pay attention to him. When they didn’t, he started slinging insults. The ban hammer was slow, it took a while.

Everyone needs to return to voting for people and the policies rather than the R or D after their name.

Only here would the corrupt autocrat of a giant country be rooted for against a smaller democracy.  Only here.

Just one more point, your projection is misplaced. Republicans don’t trust that Democrats aren’t just giving money away, but to interpolate they must therefore be in favor of Putin because Orange Man Bad is a false leap of logic.

Sad that you’ve bought into the bitter hatred and therefore missed the opportunity to ask if Republicans might be right about the lack of accountability.

16+ foot storm surge to hit Ft. Myers and the barrier islands. That is going to permanently alter the landscape/coast line.

Yikes, and I thought the 6ft surge in the keys was bad...

We’re you a leader?  Did you have the special needs and medicated kids like my brother had?  Just curious if his experience is isolated or ubiquitous.

I flew a 1943 Fairchild PT-26 Cornell to a Boy Scout Aviation event at the Rockford, IL airport several years ago. My take was that it is more common than I ever thought based on the interactions I had that day with scouts, leaders, and helicopter parents.

I was an Asst Scoutmaster.  It was a very large troop when we joined, > 120 boys.  But the associated church leadership changed policies that impacted recruiting and the troop was down to 40 when we left.

We had a little of everything.  I didn't work with them much, but on campouts it was the boys' responsibility to come to the adult for medicine.  Only two that I recall that had to be specifically searched out.

Kept my son off drugs and off the street...

The boy came home from school yesterday talking about it. Looks like I'm stuck taking him to some more meetings and the camp out next weekend. There is a zoo campout in October, but he's too young. Maybe he will get pissed he can't go and want nothing to do with it after that.

Scouting is not the worst thing a kid can do, but you should get involved and influence the troop.  The changes aren’t about gays or women, it’s lowering the standards for badges. It used to be that to get merit badge, you had to display some knowledge and skill, but now you can show up for a class on Saturday morning and get 90% of it. The boys know cheap when they see it and that will impact their interest.

Timeline wise - left scouting about 3 years ago when my son aged out.
