That was probably the best speech Trump has given thus far. Graceful and classy, he attempted to begin the healing last night. It was a great speech and I'm excited about the prospects going forward if he continues to act this way.

I'm sure Kelley Anne Conway wrote it. It was awesome. He should make her Chief of Staff. She was key to this win.

During the heat of the primary season, I was super critical of the both of you for bringing us a candidate that will crash and burn in the general election. I didn't think his angry followers could ever carry the day - I was sure that there were too few of you to matter.  Hell, us Tea Partiers got defeated not by the Left, but by our own political Establishment on the Right.

I was a Never Trumper. Right up to the point that Hillary got away with her crimes in the interest of political expediency and political corruption of the DOJ. That was my line in the sand.

As a lifelong Cubs fan, I'm not a fair-weather fan. I'm not a band-wagon jumper. I usually back the underdog, and get disgusted when the underdog is treated unfairly.  When Hillary called "you guys" deplorables, well, the that bitch called me a deplorable as well.

At some point I think I probably said that if I was wrong about Trump, I would apologize to you. Well, I was wrong, and you deplorable sumbitches were correct.

I still think Trump is a pig, but he's our pig now.  It's up to us to make sure he keeps his promises, and doesn't turn away from the messages that bought him a win.

Congratulations, and well done. I see some good things on the horizon for our country. I know I would never see those things if the results had been different this morning.

Trump has promised to appoint justices in the Scalia mold.  That is our only hope.  This is a major hit to the anti American, PC, Progressive movement.

Ted Cruz should sail through a nomination for SCOTUS. The rest of the Senate can't wait to get rid of him.

This is pretty crazy!  I thought for sure it'd be over by now.

sucking up to the left's lapdogs is a stupid idea.

Today, the White House can simply present directly to the American People.  The left's lapdogs are not necessary.

I will add that that is the ONLY way to overcome MSM bias, as "journalism" is dead and those former practitioners of it have simply become part of the statist cartel.

Expecting to get an unfiltered message directly to the people in the current reality of the American media environment is a pipe dream. The media also has a positive role to play, though the value of that has been eroded lately. I guess a ground up reimagining of the process might work, but I doubt it.

A presidential administration at war with the media is not a good thing for said administration. Thus, my opinion that Milo would make a terrible Press Secretary. But it's only an opinion, and Milo would probably make a good something else.

Who would have started that war with the media - Trump, or the media?

Frankly, this is an area where I support Trump. I've said for a long time that the Fourth Estate has become the Fifth Column. Too many Republicans have tried to make nice with the media, got burned, and came back for more. Republicans have the world's worst case of the Stockholm Syndrome.

Trump has said "Fuck that!"  Trump's message will get heard even if he has to say bizarre shit in order to get heard. I'm OK with that.

The things Trump said in that bootleg video years ago were bad.  Really, really bad.

But other than that, the worst thing people can come up with about him are things they imagine him saying.

He may have been mean and rude to some people.  But I would rather have a President that breaks rules of etiquette than one that routinely breaks rules of law.
