So after thinking about the alt left progressives and their march to destroy all symbols of the Confederacy and the Civil War, I now agree.

 Let's remove those symbolic items!  They represent hate and a group of people that promoted slavery and suppression of black people.

 Oh, and while we are at it, lets require the Democrat Party be dismantled and labeled as a "hate group".  I mean, after all if we read history it was the Democrat Party that promoted slavery, it was the Democrat Party that was instrumental in getting the civil war started due to their beliefs on slavery.  It was also the democrat party that after the Civil War that fought to prevent the slaves from having rights, that fought against blacks from having the right to vote.  It was the democrat party that promoted Jim Crow laws, that promoted segregation.

 And let's not forget it was the democrat party that was the birthplace of the KKK.  Let's not forget Sen Byrd from WV, a proud KKK member.  Let's not forget Al Gore's father who fought against the civil rights era as well as all of the democrats in congress who fought against the civil rights of blacks and minorities.

 So I propose the DNC be dismantled along with all references to them. Their HQ in Washington needs to be shut down and their signs removed.

 I mean, after all, isn't this what it's all about?

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is accusing top political aides of President Obama of making hundreds of requests during the 2016 presidential race to unmask the names of Americans in intelligence reports, including Trump transition officials.

Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, said the requests were made without specific justifications on why the information was needed.

“We have found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes, including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information,” Nunes wrote in the letter to Coats.

The letter was provided to The Hill from a source in the intelligence community.

Awan and his family have reportedly worked for House Democrats for years. He declared bankruptcy in 2012, but has made millions of dollars on the House payroll over at least a decade of work for various members, according to a Politico report.

In March, a group of House Democrats fired Awan and one other staffer over their alleged involvement in the scheme and the looming criminal investigation. However, Fox News reported Tuesday that Wasserman Schultz still has Awan on her staff's payroll despite him being barred from accessing the House's computer system since February.

At the time, Reps. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) and Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) both defended Awan.

“As of right now, I don’t see a smoking gun,” Meeks told Politico in March. “I have seen no evidence that they were doing anything that was nefarious.”

“He needs to have a hearing. Due process is very simple. You don’t fire someone until you talk to them,” Fudge added

Mark Steyn said that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of President Trump is 'banana republic stuff."

"We have a situation which civilized societies do not do, where they investigate someone in order to get something on them," Steyn told "Fox & Friends" Saturday.

"There's not even the appearance of normality here."

The appointment of a special counsel should never have happened, Steyn said, and is a "fundamental assault on self-government by the American people."

The "selective leaks" of sensitive information that have plagued this administration are the real crime, Steyn said.

Mueller expanded the Russia probe this week to include Trump's personal finances, including a 2008 Florida real estate deal. The president hit back in a statement, saying the intrusion was beyond the intended scope of the probe.

The only interference in the 2016 presidential election was not by the Russians but by the "deep state, the permanent bureaucracy, the media, the Democrats, and half the Republican party, who have not accepted what happened on a Tuesday night in November and have determined to interfere with it."
