Every time someone I know on the left cries about us needing "common sense" gun control laws I point out the thousands of guns laws we have. They get the deer in headlights look. They don't know how to respond, or cry that it's not enough or not the right laws; i.e. total restrictions. I also point out that if democrats and a certain percentage of our population stopped committing crimes, there would be very little gun crimes. I don't bring up suicides in gun deaths because that is also a fact they can't wrap their little minds around either.

Seems like most American Jews could have their family raped and killed by Hamas-supporting Palestinian illegal aliens who crossed the border under Biden, and still fund and vote for every democrat political candidate.

I really think, maybe hope is the better word, that this will finally make them open their eyes at how stupid and naive they have been for the past decades for supporting the democrat agenda. To me, this is also a prime reason why we need to get rid of tenure at colleges. Too many people spouting hate that can hide behind their protected jobs, and knowing that the administration can't do shit because tenure protects them.

In keeping with thread title … saw today that public school teachers in Portland, Oregon ALL are on strike today.

Their demands:

—23% pay increase (well yes, prices have shot up enormously recently … we’re all seeing that)

—Better tools for discipline (yes again … at last! Crack down!)

—Housing for students with no homes “so each student can get the best public school education possible.”

I used to believe in everybody having the right to vote. Now, I think that voting should be a privilege that should be earned. You only get to vote if you have skin in the game and are able to pass a competency test to be able to cast a vote.
