Well, the Media never addressed all the major failures of Obama, many economic, and many abuses of cronyism with Unions, and Solyndras. Obama helped cause the slowest, most tepid, lackluster economic recovery in history where only Wall Street really benefited, hence the record number of people on Food Stamps. Did they Media report that harsh indicator? No.
I hope he enjoys his mansion on the ocean, on an Island after preaching about the horrors of Man causing the oceans to rise and flood coastal cities. More, and bigger government, taxes, regulations and controls are always the answer.

Senator Ted Cruz: I’ll tell you the moment that I actually thought was the saddest and most revealing early in the speech, at least. When the president talked about 7 million people coming off of food stamps there were congressional democrats who hissed, who audibly hissed! Now think about what that reveals that they are routing for Americans in poverty to be trapped in dependence. That’s seven million people that have gotten jobs, that are providing for their kids.

The SOTU was very revealing for the dims and their leftist handlers. Watching them react to a speech on American Greatness, a speech that lauds record low unemployment for every sector, lifting millions from poverty and welfare and celebrating the enormous economic engine which is the envy of the world, and they boo, hiss and sit in their seats looking disgruntled. They truly do hate this country, but more importantly they hate us.
Nancy's abhorrent behavior last night will cost her and the dims in November. She put on display her contempt not only for the President, but for the American people.
If anyone went into last night sitting on the fence, they no doubt came away with a resolve not to allow these American hating socialist to take down our country.

The speech last night by the President was masterful. Again, one of the traits I do like about Trump is he gets the other side to expose themselves for all to see.

Tuesday night was the worst night of Pelosi’s political career, and it was 100 percent self-inflicted. We should all remember her behavior when she’s unceremoniously dumped out of the speaker’s chair in November’s elections, and we should show her the same degree of respect and compassion she and her fellow goons, in white and other colors, showed to the president, babes and schoolgirls, veterans young and old, and cancer patients of distinction on Tuesday night.

Ted Cruz is exactly correct. All of that pissed me off too.
But if I step back from emotion and ask myself: If the Democrats are in fact caring humans, why would they refuse to clap at good things happening to Americans?
* They think Trump is lying and those things aren’t happening, this is plausible if they only watch CNN etc.
* They think those things are bad and not good, impossible to understand but there you have it. Bad that the U.S is respected in the world?
* They hate America and Americans and don’t like good things happening to us. This would require that they do not see themselves as typical Americans. The “blue collar boom” has nothing to do with them; “low black unemployment” has nothing to do with them even if they are black, because they are the elite political class.
* They love America and like those good things but hate Trump so much they can’t bring themselves to clap when he is the one reporting the good news. Possibly this is because they think Obama brought about these good things and Trump is wrongly taking credit for them, but a normal person would clap and cheer about others’ good fortune no matter who caused it, you would think.

I noticed there were some things they did clap and stand for, mostly toward the end. I believe they clapped for educational funding and maybe bringing high speed internet to rural areas (they forgot rural tends to be conservative) and maybe for landing someone on Mars and maybe infrastructure. I was wondering if they realized how bad an optic they were creating and so tried to show some fake courtesy toward the end but that would require that they realize they might be offending some general public that would otherwise be Democrats but are not as bitter and rude as them.
For example the increasing portion of blacks that are polling to favor Trump. People like that - in the process of switching sides - are going to be driven away, not lured back, by such disgusting rudeness to the sitting president and cold reaction to the news of good things happening to them. But I doubt they realized this midway through the speech so for some inexplicable reason I have to accept that they clap for high speed internet but don’t clap for people getting jobs.
Actually I think what they clapped for was all government programs and what they didn’t clap for was private sector growth due to reduced government interference. So they revealed themselves as hating individual freedom and loving government control. That was a big swath of politicians there hating the founding ideal of this nation.
I couldn’t see but I sure hope everyone clapped for the little kids and the Tuskegee great grandfather and the homeless drug addict that is now a construction worker. Otherwise I must revise my premise that they are caring human beings after all.

So here we have an outsider, who has done more in three years than most in the political class have done in decades. This scares the living hell out of them. Why? Now others, outside of the elite, see a way in. The elites cannot allow this.
The elites are there to enrichen themselves with the federal treasury. Tax payer dollars can be used to buy votes and influence and shore up relationships with chosen industries. The very idea that someone wanting to come in and stop waste is hateful to the elite. That "waste" is their ticket to power.
