Title: Letter writing
Post by: Rush on November 28, 2020, 07:53:17 AM
In addition to writing my own congressmen, is there any point in writing to others?  I know they don’t like to pay attention to people not their constituents but I feel an urge to write to them in all states insisting on election reform: paper ballots only ID required ending on election day, mandated maybe as an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Okay that might be jumping the gun. It also might be interfering with states rights, but it’s something that should be addressed. Although right now it’s about getting the fraud exposed and Trump in office.

Basically I just want to be a pain in the ass by sending them paper mail to deal with, and I’m hoping millions of others are pissed off and do the same and they all get inundated.

Maybe it’s a good way to get on “the list” but if Trump’s lawyers, and the fraud witnesses, and the Reps who are stepping up are risking their necks to save the country, it’s the least I can do to help.

What do you people think? What’s a good plan?

From what I'm hearing legislators, congressmen and senators are getting bombarded with phone calls, emails and letters demanding reform.

Going forward, look for the free states to strengthen election laws.  Look for the blue states with republican controlled legislatures attempt to strengthen election laws to be fought back by dim governors using every flimsy excuse they can find.

We will still have deep blue states running sham elections.   The only way around this will be a constitutional amendment mandating the manner of voting.   Of course this will require a convention of states to kick in, which could be a good thing as we could finally get term limits on congressmen and senators and possibly repeal the 17th amendment to put the selection of senators back into the legislature where the founding fathers intended it.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. This can’t be fixed unless it’s nationwide. I would love the 17th to be repealed but I dare not hope for that much.

I wouldn't want any part of the maskachusetts state legislators selecting the state senators.

I called my state senator’s office today to get his position on election reform in Wisconsin, and reigning in our Covidiot governor.

He’s going to be the Wisconsin Senate President from 2021-2022, so I’m going to be after him like a dog.

They are out of session until January, and I told him I fully expect him to sponsor legislation in January to fundamentally transform the Wisconsin election process. No nibbling around the edges bullshit. And no waiting until 2023. Do it fucking NOW.
