I don't think TG couples are that unusual, I know one myself. One is MTF and the other FTM so they basically equal a regular heterosexual couple more than a homosexual marriage.
But the kids? I am really hesitant to believe the kids are for real, and not just modeling their parents' issues. All I can say is they better be really careful before chopping anything off irreversibly.

As far as the couple... meh! lots of weird things in the world... can't see getting all riled up about it.

I’m not sure I could deal being friends with a TG couple. I have gay friends, male friends, and female friends. But confusion about chromosomes and body parts? That’s a bridge too far.

I met the one born male many years ago, "George" was a martial arts instructor. Not the slightest bit effeminate, no signs whatsoever and I have very good gaydar but completely missed this one. When I heard he was turning into "Georgina" I was floored. Many years went by and he became she and I missed the beard, she was better looking as a he IMO. Anyhow met the partner who I had not known as a female but had transitioned into a male at least outwardly, I don't know if that one has had the surgery yet. The female to male is a lot harder - tee hee - to do than the male to female.
It is a bit jarring when the woman is taller than the man and the roles reversed from what you expect because unless you have hormone therapy before puberty, adult faces and frames keep their birth (chromosomal) gender. But people are people and when you get to know them they're just people. As a couple they have all the exact same shit the rest of do i.e.: fighting over the thermostat setting.
