Other than fake news and faker progressive snowflakes, who actually cares?
It seems Kaepernick's girlfriend queered his deal with Baltimore by calling the Ravens owner a slaveholder, among other things, and now the pathetic press are having a tantrum because Donald Trump correctly spoke, reflecting the views of a majority of Americans.
You'd think he observed the criminal governor of California and his rush to sign illegal things into law, like giving illegals the right to vote and hang out collecting our tax money for free.
I guess collapsing attendance, and plummeting viewership isn't enough for the NFL, now Goodell just HAD to respond with a reply that had to be written by a snowflake, intern. It was so grossly, pandering in its tone and reflected Goodell's abject fear of being called a racist by the racist left.
What's next, are NFL teams going to be required to provide snowflake only seating sections? remove any signs that fail to mention social justice and that fucking pig, Kaepernick?

"Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”
Since when is it the job of the CUSTOMER to have to respect the BUSINESS? I don't have to respect a business, but if I choose to patronize it, it damned well better show respect to me as the paying customer.
This just demonstrates how fucking far out of touch the NFL has become. I'm out.

The NFL has been out of touch with reality for years. Just look at the whole structure of the organization and one can see where NFL management expects, if not demands the customers show them loyalty.
They don't get a penny from me and frankly I could care less about their crappy overpaid players along with all their drama.

The NFL needs to respect the United States, and the American people, not the other way around. They can go Effff themselves. They are going downhill fast, and are only hurting themselves. Sports, and sports Media have become the bastion of Liberal/Progressive politics. ESPN is the worst. The only league that isn't in this category is the NHL. I wonder why.

I have not watched an NFL game in more than a year - Goodell is responsible.
The quality of the product, that is, the game itself, has been on a steady decline for several years because Goodell and crew will not let the players play the freaking game when ON the field.
They then let the players get away with murder (literally and figuratively) OFF the field, including severe cases of domestic abuse, drug abuse, rapes, etc.
Throw in billionaire team owners making ridiculous demands of the cities that they call home (looking at you Spanos).
Kaepernick's anthem shenanigans were really just the last straw.
Fuck the NFL.

Don't know that this is true (his former lawyer is the source), nor does it matter with respect to him being a thug who was tried and convicted for murder and then later killed himself while in prison.
Hernandez was an outlyer in terms of actually being caught, tried and convicted - far too many of these guys get away with similar behavior with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

Got a lot done yesterday.
Leslie and I flew to Vero Beach for lunch (C.J. Cannons is a great on-field restaurant). Leslie got some actual IMC experience and shot two GPS approach/landings. And when we got home, we did some post-hurricane yard work, had a few cocktails, and fixed a mighty good shrimp and scallop dinner and spent a lot of quality time with each other.
NFL football was a huge waste of time for us. I think our annual Super-bowl party will still be held, but sans-tv.

Done with the NFL and their crybaby snowflakes. Trump can call me or my family anything he likes for $10M+ per year. Sign me up.
College sports only for me going forward, and even that is sketchy.

My dad and most of family grew up in WI, not far from Green Bay. I lived in Denver during the big Elway years, and lived in SoCal during some big NFL years there. I've been spoiled by great pro football almost all my life. While I don't buy any NFL gear, and I'm not much of a 'rah-rah' kind of guy, but for years I followed the corp sponsors, and did business with them
No more.
Cut up my Visa card, going with MC unless they endorse the NFL.
My last truck was a Ford, current one is a Dodge, won't be going back to Ford.
Switched from an A-B beer to a different brand(this hurt, I like beer).
And while I don't have a choice in computer OS, I won't be buying any Microsoft gear if I can help it.
So long suckas! My Sundays will be spent in other pursuits.

I was just channel surfing and found HSN hawking NFL branded sofa covers. I called their 800 # punched 0 and played the game with the sales associate. Gave the item # and informed them that I didn't want any. She sounded a little confused until I mentioned, "I think you know why". I asked her to pass this along. We wished each other a good day.

I learned in 2008 that I represent about 25% of the opinion in the U.S. So my opinion and action counted more than I really knew. It is somehow satisfying when I send this to the Attorney General of the United States and just weeks later Equifax is being investigated , the CEO has "stepped down".......
Honorable Sir,
I'm disturbed at news that a company Equifax has collected information on me for their benefit and profit. I'm disturbed that my private information which secures my banking , funds and retirement benefits has been compromised by their lack of security. I'm disappointed at their pitiful offer of security monitoring for one year for a problem which extends far longer than that.
I'm particularly concerned that Equifax discovered this breech July 29th and consumers were not notified until September 7th while three executives were able to sell shares within three days of the discovery of the data breech.
Equifax has caused me concern enough to have to spend the better part of today securing my accounts, funds , retirement plans from a problem caused by their negligence.
Equifax needs to be limited for their input to credit scores until such time as they have made consumers whole in the security of their private information. To my knowledge I do not use their services nor did I authorize them to collect this information for their benefit.
Why should I be placed at risk by their lack of security?
