Hahahahahahahahahahaha….
It must hurt to be so blindly politically partisan that you stoop to this bullshit.
-
Yep.
Takes a real special kind of guy to celebrate people's deaths.
Maybe next they'll come up with hospicelosers.com or something similar. :o
-
Fucking sick bastards. I wonder how many of the site posters have BMIs over 25, drink, smoke, take drugs, have tats, eat red meat...
-
Wow, you are one sick fuck.
A friend of a friend just got put on a ventilator on Sunday. They called this person’s children in to talk to him in the event he doesn’t wake up. Don’t know if he was vaccinated or not, but he was obese, had diabetes, high BP, and a few other comorbidities including being 74 years old.
Time to celebrate, right Steingar?
-
I'm sure mikey checked with snopes to determine if the information was mostly true, or whatever bullshit classification snopes is abusing these days.

Just checked with my wife. He was vaccinated. Ooops. I guess he doesn’t make Steingar’s website after all.

I wonder if that was a government mandate or a hospital mandate. Someone needs to pay.
-

Requiring people who have recovered from the disease to get the vaccine is the most insane thing about this entire clusterfuck.
-
I'm sure a supposed academic like mikey will follow up with the LONG list of those killed by the vaccine, after it was forced in them by medical fakes like that fuckwad fauci.
How many actual patients has the fuckwad fauci examined in the last forty years, again.....
Oh, right. NONE.
OBVIOUSLY a lettered academic like mikey would put his trust in a pencil pusher, ignoring all the real doctors, who treat real people. What fucking progressive asshole wouldn't?

I’ve been on boards such as this for a long time, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, people like Steingar crave nothing more than someone begging them not to leave. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I like your intelligent reasoned posts and that you break up the echo chamber. But that website is posting pictures of people who are sick and dying and publicly ridiculing and even celebrating their tragic outcomes because they expressed opinions and let their stand on vaccination be known. Public shaming because they exercised a risk vs benefit decision about their own health is not a thing I can support.

I agree. I have voiced that before. I'd vote for her.

They didn't exercise a risk vs benefit behavior. They behaved foolishly and many paid the ultimate price for it. Moreover, by promoting their idiocy they may have caused others to pay the ultimate price as well. Public ridicule seems utterly appropriate.

Mikey should be spelled Fucking, idiot, infantile, troll….

You know absolutely nothing about these people, but yet your superiority complex takes over and you make asinine statements such as above. And here and elsewhere you promote your idiocy daily, and you're rather proud of it.
Public ridicule seems utterly appropriate.
As is the ridicule you receive.

So maybe when GA pilots die in their small craft, someone should start a web page to ridicule them for their "foolish" behavior flying those dangerous planes. Or maybe motorcyclists when they die riding those foolish bikes?
Making fun of the deceased is tasteless and beyond low. Although I don't agree with many of your views, I've always thought of you as being a decent person. That thought is now in question.
-
They didn't exercise a risk vs benefit behavior.
Yes they did. They may have used information that you don’t agree with, but they made a choice based on what they thought was best for themselves. Some were wrong, that’s to be expected in a large sample size, but the great majority were correct. After getting covid and recovering they have better immunity than the vaccinated so it was best for them after all, but you don’t want to publicize that because it doesn’t fit your conviction that they are all wrong when in fact 99% of them were right.
They behaved foolishly and many paid the ultimate price for it. Moreover, by promoting their idiocy they may have caused others to pay the ultimate price as well. Public ridicule seems utterly appropriate.
So now it’s mob mentality if other people don’t get vaxxed because you don’t. But it’s not mob mentality to follow the lockdown - maskurbator cult when there is no more evidence those mandates work than there is vaccines are harmful. Public ridicule should be heaped upon everyone that destroyed the economy with lockdowns.
-
Mikey’s ego is much that fuckwad fauci’s.
Stupid, big mouth, low information but dedicated to the commie narrative.
Of. course Mikey does so because he is too simple minded to think for himself.

Are there any studies that show masks do anything to mitigate COVID?
-
Are there any studies that show masks do anything to mitigate COVID?
specifically covid-19? probably not
more general studies regarding various flavors of masks, then the answer is yes, such studies exist. Unfortunately, the conclusions are all over the map ranging from masks don't do bupkis to even just a bandana over the nose and mouth is magic protection.

Public ridicule is hurtful to their families. You ought to be ashamed that they have stooped to this level.
You don’t seem to comprehend that other people have values different from your own. What you call foolish behavior, they call benefit. Believe it or not, there are people who find being told how to live intolerable. The act of someone directing any aspect their lives is harmful to them. They value that freedom so much that for them, the low risk of dying was worth living free.
You are unqualified to judge them because you do not share what they value. Doing so is one of the most unAmerican things that can be done. Nobody who respects others would ever dream of dictating to them. It is a classic American value.

Did y'all see where LeBron James got COVID and he is vaxxed.

I'd love to see a chart (or charts) with
number of people vaccinated vs time
number of people unvaccinated vs time
number of people vaccinated that were diagnosed with covid vs time
number of people unvaccinated that were diagnosed with covid vs time
number of people vaccinated that were diagnosed with covid vs time since vaccination
(wtih symptom severity for all of the above)

Yes, symptom severity (if any) must be included as well as a breakout of the proportion of false positives.

Ain't gonna happen.

Again, the Fascist panic porn purveyors fail to admit the vast majority of those that died WITH Covid were already very old, very sick and dying of other causes. A Flu could or would have also pushed them over the edge.
The huge Government overreach, over reaction along with MEDIA, Corporate America, Education was a total control scam. Mikey loves to be told what to think and do like most Marxists.
-
So maybe when GA pilots die in their small craft, someone should start a web page to ridicule them for their "foolish" behavior flying those dangerous planes. Or maybe motorcyclists when they die riding those foolish bikes?
That frequently occurs when said people perish in the middle of doing obviously foolish maneuvers or practices.
-
The simple fact that (once again) the party of racism, violence, hate, arson, looting and murder - democrats)
is perfectly comfortable celebrating death as a punishment for daring to disagree with their communist agenda.
mikey is a detestable human being, so steeped in hate that he can't even see how disgusting his post is.
The fact that this pretend academic hasn't the intelligence to want to understand the relationship between
co-morbidity and the people being ravaged by his sick web page, reminds me of how little he really understands about science.

Quite unbecoming of an associate professor I think.
Also, the numbers here are just not so overwhelming in favor of taking the vaccine that we should ridicule those who don’t.
If you are under 65, the odds of dying from COVID-19, if you catch it, are about equal to driving 17 miles to/from work each day. Very few people worry about this level of risk and think “I better change my job and commute because it is too risky”.
Similarly, the odds of seriously bad outcomes from the vaccine are likely on the order of 1-10 per 1,000,000. Not really big but not trivial either.
These tradeoffs fall in the range where reasonable people may make different choices.
Sort of like some people find the enjoyment of flying in small planes with the 1 in 1,00,000 hours risk of death worth it. Others do not. Different strokes for different folks.
These facts likely account for why 30% of doctors don’t want to immunize their young children and a fair fraction of the US population does not choose to be vaccinated.

The democrat mentality is truly steeped in marxism to the point that simply holding an opposing viewpoint to the approved agenda is considered an offense worthy of death. In the modern age, democrat really does mean the party of hate and death... but only death to anyone daring to think independently of their propaganda.

Russell brand just posted an interview with a guy that says the left has “collapsed into a new religion” of Puritanism, that is, being so morally certain they are right as to shut down all opposition.
And this is an academic saying this, don’t know his politics but he hardly seems right wing.

The most recent numbers that I saw showed 30% of healthcare workers remained unvaccinated. 30%. That was as of October I believe. That is NOT an insignificant number.
-

I think this is a result of politicization of the issues. That happens when you try to coerce people into doing things by having mask mandates, lockdowns, and vaccine mandates. And frankly affects both sides of the debate.
It is also true that people are just very bad in general at accurately assessing low level risks. Our brains are just not evolved to be reacting to these kind of choices.
-

Which resulted in some of them getting fired in states like NY. Makes sense, huh?

The video I linked above talks about how the mandates possibly reduce compliance, especially among the disenfranchised who are very wary of authoritarian mandates with good reason.
Disenfranchised or not, just about everyone understands not liking being forced to do something.
It is also true that people are just very bad in general at accurately assessing low level risks. Our brains are just not evolved to be reacting to these kind of choices.
“Psychologically we have a tendency to underestimate large risks and to overestimate small ones. At the same time, the media have a tendency to focus on dramatic rather than everyday risks. This is a dangerous cocktail.
…. “ (a scientific survey of newspapers mention of various causes of death found that…) Plane crashes are over represented by almost 12,000 times compared to deaths caused by smoking.”

It is a godaddy domain where the owner is remaining anonymous. Telling.
Now in all likelihood some of the statements made are false. And some states permit an estate to sue for libel of the deceased.
So if one could find a deceased with family that was in the correct state and felt offended by the false statements, it might be possible to mount a libel action.
That would certainly de-anonymize the person or group running the site and maybe even punish them economically.
I don’t have time to do that, but someone else might.

Here is the world that Steingar would impose upon Americans if he had the power to do so.
It’s a very 1939 vibe with an Aussie accent.

A major difference between democrats and republicans is that democrats like being told what to do, when to do it, and seem comfortable when no other choice is permitted.
The party of "Woman's Right To Choose," is totally against personal choice and willing to advocate for death instead of freedom to choose.
