It's time to replace the government.

Folks in my neck of the woods are showing signs of having had enough. We made a trip to Walgreens today. It was in the 4:30 - 5:30 time frame. I noticed there was a lot of traffic out and about, nearly what we've experienced in that area before.

We took a walk and saw one of our neighbors taking his dog out in the yard and he says, “There’s not hardly any chemtrails in the sky.”

Agree, traffic is now near normal, lots of people out and about. If they don't open the country by May 1, people are going to be very antsy. I really think that is a key date, most can be patient until end of month, but if this spills over into next month, all bets are off.

If we are not fully open on May 1st, I hope businesses start violating what ever orders and edicts their GOVERNORS have proclaimed in open defiance.

If a majority of people and businesses do it, what are they going to do? They can’t jail everyone. Declare martial law and start shooting citizens?

That's my thought.  If ENOUGH businesses do it, then Government may not be able to do much.  At some point we have to take our futures into our own hands.

If enough of us do. But half the population are brainwashed into thinking we are all gonna die and will become snitches and tattletales.

My wife and I have made several trips out and about including to five different state parks. I've been going to PT twice a week since this started. The PT place has adapted well, the receptionist signs you in and processes your payment, you swipe your own card and do not have to sign the credit slip. Before you start, you go wash your hands. The PT guys wash their hands a lot and continually wipe things down with disinfectant. They have not had a patient the has gotten the virus. Once or twice a week we go to Aldi, Publix and Kroger depending on our needs. We've had take you for a local Italian restaurant, Cracker Barrel, Captain D's drive-thru and LongHorns. We've been into numerous little convenience stores in our travels.

In North Carolina, there's protests at the Capitol over the governor's use of the Stay At Home order

1) he used a law intended for individuals and applied it to the entire state
2) The law he cited grants authority to the State Health Inspector, not to the governor.

Not that I think he cares about laws.  This is the same guy who refused to do his duty as Attorney General and would not represent the state in cases he disagreed with.

Regardless the order expires 4/28 and they must go to superior court to get it extended.  Unfortunately I believe they would have no trouble getting a judge to extend it.

Oh, you can bet I’m real careful venturing out on those deserted streets. The cops must be starving for ticket revenue.

They are and they are doing all the can to generate revenue including putting more speed traps around.     >:(

These orders are arbitrary and capricious. A local family business called Biltrite Furniture is suing the state for the unlawful determination that they must close as they are not an essential business.

So this business has to close, but competitors like Walmart, Target, Costco, etc. can remain open and sell furniture.

Good for them. More businesses need to do that.

Let’s see, who’s the winners in this shut down?  Big box stores, certain food delivery services, petty local dictators, Democrats, epidemiologists, Netflix, and authoritarians.

Flew over the local Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Lowe's store few days ago and their parking lots have about the same amount of cars and trucks as usual.  Drive through downtown and all the small stores are closed.  Wonder how much the big box stores are paying the politicos...  Oh, nothing roped off in the big box stores here.

To the family who owns the business, it is very, very essential.

My twerp pencil-neck liberal puppet governor just extended a stay at home order until May 26.

This state won’t stand for it. I believe it violates the Constitution. It’s sabres and pitchforks time.

I would say Walmart around me is less busy. Lowe’s and similar store are more busy during the week. Paint isle is always busy guess everyone is painting their house.

Our MN governor is probably the least crazy. He has slowly opened up more here. Now nursery’s (plants) have been allowed to open, talking about golf course also.
Now MI she takes the cake

But don't you care about saving lives?  :o

Pussy leftists on POA have me wanting to throw things at the computer.  Obvious "essential" elitists who don't have to worry where their next dollar is coming from and/or are too stupid and indoctrinated to understand that 30 MILLION UNEMPLOYED AMONG THE UNWASHED is eventually going to affect them too.

And these are fellow pilots and aircraft owners. I'm so disgusted with the lot of them.
