I've hunted wild turkeys.  They can be smart, elusive and have good eye sight which means you must become invisible to them.  We have large flocks near where I live, and across the river in Occupied Communist enemy territory in Jersey, they've been having problems with flocks intimidating people in their neighborhoods.  Not letting them out of cars, etc.  But, remember these people are afraid of their own shadow and are screaming for their Nanny State government to come to their rescue.

If you get out of the car and wave, and yell at the turkeys they will disperse and leave you alone.  If you have to launch one into flight with your foot if they actually attack you, do so.  Yes, wild turkeys can fly short distances, unlike their Perdue, genetically modified cousins.

I hunted turkey once in Iowa. Boring as hell, sitting in cammo at the base of a tree just waiting.

When I lived in NC I asked why people don’t turkey hunt here. They said that The Carolinas has every poisonous snake in the US. They don’t like the idea of sitting next to trees for hours on end with copperheads, rattlers, coral, and cottonmouths slithering around. I get it!

You have to use turkey calls and call them in.  I don't turkey hunt much and haven't for years.  We have tons of them here though.

Wild turkey was always on the table at my grandparent's place when I was growing up. Grandma  warned us to watch out for the shot, said she didn't always get it all out.

Hunting wasn't a pastime for that side of the family, it was how they fed their families. They were pretty much working poor, hunting was absolutely necessary. Meat never came from the store, it was always venison, turkey, and fish from the freezer.

My Grandfather always had shots of Wild Turkey too, but he wouldn't share.  I had to settle for the big-breasted kind.  Oh well.

I’m surprised those guys in the orchestra near her could keep their eyes on their music! That’s a special talent, too.  ;D

Not a problem.
Good that he appreciates classical music.

Oh they're definitely real. I will never understand women getting implants, but then I am generously endowed so maybe I can't relate. The exception of course is reconstruction after mastectomy. But even then not sure I'd do it. My sister had implants after her mastectomy, and in the end she said she wished she had not, because the cancer recurred behind the implant and she thought the implants masked it, and if not for them she might have caught it sooner and survived.

But for purely cosmetic reasons? Subjecting yourself to the risks of invasive surgery, and risk damaging milk ducts endangering future breast feeding? I don't get it. Do women believe all men reject small boobs? I know that's not true. One guy told me, "I love all boobies. Big ones, little ones, perky ones, low-slung ones. I love them all!"

Or do women do it because they feel they must compete with other women?

My ex wife had implants for cosmetic reasons.  Not the one you met at the Fly-in Rush, the one after.   She got them when she was 21 and we started dating when she was 30.  I asked her why she did that and she said she hated the way she looked in clothing being relatively flat chested.  Oh, ok.  I bought it, but she was just a very narcissistic woman with Borderline Personality Disorder (or worse) and just wanted to meet men with money.  Oh, she was very, very attractive, but that was part of the sham.  Ugh.

So, I don't know why women do that to themselves, other than wanting to attract men.  And yes, we are that superficial, sometimes.
