I was rummaging through my father's old letters and came across THIS.
I know universities have become skewed toward the left. I had always assumed a mere social or cultural spread of left wing ideology, I never suspected such a deliberate, systematic cleansing of anyone not in lock step. And already back then?

Given the current machinations coming from the left, I'd say the man nailed it. It is only much more above board now. This friend of my father's is deceased but I will keep his name anonymous.

You can't use the word "Communist" anymore as the media has also made that a bad word, but the current crop of Liberal/Progressives certainly lean that way. The INTOLERANCE of these "systems" of government, are based in controlling all aspects of your lives, including thought. Whether it be man made climate change, more social programs, abortion, higher taxes, more government, more regulation (ultimately bans, and confiscation) on LEGALLY owned firearms, etc.
the Left knew that controlling academia, schools, and universities in combination with control of the media would be the key to the accomplishment of their utopian goals.

The socialist/communist/progressive cabal has always sought to make inconvenient speech illegal by redefining unpopular opinions as behavior, instead of constitutionally protected speech. Colleges have led the way and now almost all government buildings adhere to communist philosophies in limiting free speech in favor of PC speech.
Public schools and teacher unions are little more than communist hot houses anymore and many academics openly embrace censorship and violence against unpopular opinions as business as usual.
