Title: Tired of Poverty?
Post by: nddons on August 21, 2020, 06:27:20 AM
Apparently, some SJWs aren’t tired enough to acknowledge personal responsibility.

These billboards were taken down in Milwaukee because they were “offensive.”

Perhaps if the billboards showed a white person, people might have looked at the message rather than the optics.

Of perhaps not even showing a person.

Maybe it was the reference to Proverbs 10:4

"Lazy hands make for povert, but diligent hands bring wealth"

The Left (Democrats, Marxists, etc) hate the Truth.  They hate it with a passion because it exposes their lies.  Their entire platform is based on lies.  You have to be an idiot to vote for Biden or any of the Dems.

Limbaugh played a clip today of Karl Rove slamming Biden on his points about Trumps response to COVID. It was really good, but I've been unable to dig it up.

I simply don't trust Karl Rove.

I simply don't trust Karl Rove.

He's a Bush guy.  Bush is friends with the Obamas  now.

Rove pimps himself out to the highest bidder.   He was an anti-trumper in 2016.   He approached the Trump campaign then and wanted a huge salary, and they sent him packing.

Karl Rove brought out some Biden Campaign talking pints about COVID.

"Late January, remember, he had said the China travel ban was hysteria and xenophobia. Early February he sent out his campaign to say this is less lethal than SARS, and is, quote, “probably not a serious epidemic.” Mid-February he said, quote, “We don’t have a COVID-19 epidemic. We have a fear epidemic.” By late February they were saying, quote, “It’s like flu and it’s gonna dissipate with warmer weather and move to the southern hemisphere.” And, quote, “Masks are not going to help,” end quotes. Early March he opposed the European travel ban. He’s also the guy that presided over in the Obama-Biden administration over depleting the national strategic stockpile of the PPE. His plan was delivered, all six things in it were things that President Trump and his administration had already done."

The woman behind the billboards is Star Parker who started urbancure.org.  She's on a great mission to convert Black Americans to conservatism and leave the Democrat plantation.

Those guidelines for staying out of poverty are sound and have been around for years. It’s just more convenient and satisfying for the perpetually aggrieved to blame something, someone, ANYTHING but personal choices.

I lived in Cleveland Heights, OH for 6 years.  49% white, but most of the white people are REALLY old or were in medical training at the Cleveland Clinic.  It was a safe community to live in.  We moved back to Texas 13 years ago.

I was at a CVS on Father's Day picking up a prescription.  There was a couple of older black ladies who were checking out in front of me.  They told the young black man who was ringing up their order, "Happy Father's Day!"

He politely told them he was not a father yet as he wanted to make something of himself before he became a father.

The ladies said 'good for you!'.

I did also.

There are young men and women still doing things right.
