What are the odds that this will pass?

Even if it does pass, I suspect they will attach so many strings as to make it a joke.
But I suspect it won't pass, and among others I suspect John Roberts will be one of the deciding votes to take it down.

I hope I'm wrong.

I don't expect the Court to declare Constitutional Carry nation wide.  That would be a bridge way too far.

However, that isn't what the NY case is about.  NY is accused of having an effective ban on bearing arms because they've already made the process way too complex.  I expect they will be told there must be a route for regular citizens to get guns.

The 2nd Amendment does state "

the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

. To bear arms to to carry them with you.
