Tell me how the deep state, federal agencies and top Republicans, nay, the entire party, tried to take out Obama. Did O operate under mainstream media defamation blitzes and faked investigations, with a continual cry from Republicans for impeachment? Was his family targeted for investigations, and everyone he did business with in the past?

Other than the fringe “birthers,” O was allowed complete freedom to operate however he chose, protected by the media, which has repeatedly admitted it was and is biased while merrily and unobstructedly continuing to be so.

Democrats there are woke. A lot didn’t vote because Hillary was a lock. Trump made a lot of promises there that really haven’t been entirely kept. Government Motors is shutting an assembly line and every worker there is looking at the president and saying “Why didn’t you save my job?”

The economy of the region hasn’t changed all that much and it needed more than talk and promises there.

Yes. I live in the rust belt. Most areas in the rust belt are having trouble finding qualified workers to fill the jobs that have been created under Trump.

Promises not entirely kept?  Who the fuck’s fault is that?  Trump has been been battling obstructionist democrats, which is a given, but also intransigent republicans who prefer the status quo and will not accept someone who rejects the swamp.

Washington had a weak and sick Army when he crossed the Delaware River at Christmas for the battle of Trenton, but at least his soldiers rowed the boat in the right direction. Trump has no such benefit. He is rowing this boat alone.

Trump won the election because he made promises to the rust belt and just barely enough middle of the road Independents and Democrats voted for him.

Anyone think he can repeat that again?

Yes, I do. My concern about Trump in 2016 was that he talked a good game, but never really did anything to advance conservatism.

After two years, Trump has exceeded my wildest expectations, and is the most conservative President I have seen in my lifetime.

If he continues on this path, he will exceed the conservative reforms of Ronald Reagan.

The executive can start by telling a single federal judge who opines that a president cannot carry out his constitutionally granted authority to pound sand.

The president would be more effective if he wasn’t also a nasty twitter troll.

I used to think that, and I still cringe at a few tweets. Personally I hate Twitter.

But I now see Trump’s point. He has 47.8 MILLION followers on Twitter. That is more than the viewership of every network news and cable news outlet COMBINED for any given hour of viewership.

So from Trump’s perspective, a single tweet will hit the phones of 15% of the American population (yes I understand some of these followers are likely foreign.)  He can skip the MSM filters, or outright ignoring some of the good things that he is doing.

I think it’s brilliant. Sometimes cringeworthy, but brilliant nonetheless.

Laura Ingraham sent out a Tweet almost immediately that shredded her argument.
People seem to have forgotten how Obama told us those jobs wern't coming back and we had to get used to it.
