« on: November 01, 2017, 09:22:09 AM »Nope. Every training dept, in every town, county, state, fed LEO program must teach equal treatment law enforcement methods. It's fed mandated. I believe, in most states now there is an annual class(maybe online, maybe canned presentations) or seminars on equal treatment that have to be run to retain a badge. I know in my county there is a requirement that every badged officer has to take the training each year. Not sure about other states/counties.
I'm not talking about training. I'm taking about function.
Cops don't go around looking to exonerate people. Everyone to them is a perp until proven otherwise.

I am the same, and I know a lot of other conservatives, and libertarians that feel the same way. As long as they don't push an agenda on me which requires not only acceptance, but also celebration/promotion, then I am fine with it. Live, and let live.

I am a recipient of the GI Bill. In my opinion, it was not a scholarship in any sense of the word.
My GI Bill required me to put money in the system and then the government matched my contribution $3 for every $1 I contributed.
I put in my 4 years of active duty (followed by 2 years inactive reserve) to complete my 6 year obligation. During the 4 years active duty I worked very hard to earn that benefit.

This is good! 2016 was a pretty good year for the Dow, up 4000-some points. Trading volume in December/January very healthy. Confidence and perception can be wonderful things.Yep. Trump is continuing Obama's tradition of making the rich, richer.
The difference is that Trump will also be making the poor less poor and more self reliant.

If that makes your snowflake heart melt, then it's time to grow up. The world is not your mommy and I resent you compelling me to do anything. If you believe that's it's OK to compel people do perform tasks they don't want to then defend an anti-slavery stance. Yes, different order of magnitude, but same principle.
