I hope Seattle burns to the ground and the Mayor and City Council are hanged or guillotined.
On Monday, Seattle’s KOMO reported that Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best has announced that she will retire from the Seattle Police Department, effective September 2.
In an email to the Seattle Police Department obtained by KOMO, Best said, “This was a difficult decision for me, but when it’s time, it’s time. I want to thank Mayor Durkan for her continuous support through good times and tough times. I am confident the department will make it through these difficult times. You truly are the best police department in the country, and please trust me when I say, the vast majority of people in Seattle support you and appreciate you.” She also stated that she looks forward to seeing “how this department moves forward through the process of re-envisioning public safety.”
All these cities that are cutting their Police forces will see a rise in crime like never before. Looters and BLM rioters are so emboldened in Chicago they rented U Haul trucks to carry the stuff they stole away.

What's funny is the dims are now panicking over the outcome of all this lunacy. Seems they never thought this would get out of control, and now they can't put the genie back in the bottle.
The blowback from the violence and the defund the police is, and has backfired. Polling shows a huge majority of Americans, both blue and red, are opposed to this. The end result is this is driving voters to vote republican.
A failed VP with onset dementia, violence, looting and murders going through the roof, Democrat leadership looting the treasury and covid fatigue does not add up to a winning combination.

Isn’t she 60 days late? When your mayor tells you to stand down, and not do the job you’ve been trained for, then a person of character would have resigned on the spot.

She was probably looking for a way to become a hero out of all this. Didn't work, now she's quitting.
