AP article on workers at an Amazon plant in Alabama voting against forming a union.

Imagine such a thing.

Interesting. Xiden and his handlers want massively expanded unions. Tech giants who are Dem donors don't want unions in their shops. Wonder who will win? Or yet another case of socialism for thee but not for me?

Heads exploding is a good title. When something like this doesn’t seem to make sense, I’ve begun looking at it as a psyop or distraction.

The Tech giants have enough money to buy the Democrats off. As do the Chinese.

Wait...how do you (as a worker) vote AGAINST forming a union??? You don't want a union don't organize it, don't fund it, don't join it. This makes little sense. I suspect this is a controversy borne out of thin air.

it's pretty simple... when a union attempts to unionize a company, the workers vote for or against unionizing.
what's the confusion?

Do you want a union? [ ] Yes. [ ] No.
Why do you think that there are all those UNION YES [ x ] stickers?
-
Union dues are EXPENSIVE. Nobody needs another useless tax going solely to fund Democrats.

Union organizing is an interesting experience. Once the company gets wind o fit they will start firing any dead wood employees for fear they'll get stuck with them. Next they will start claiming all sort of employees are really managers and thus exempt. Then there are the NLRB hearings to decide whether those people can vote or not. Finally comes the vote.

“Federal law allows unions and employers to enter into "union-security" agreements which require all employees in a bargaining unit to become union members and begin paying union dues and fees within 30 days of being hired. Employees may choose not to become union members and pay dues, or opt to pay only that share of dues used directly for representation, such as collective bargaining and contract administration. Known as objectors, they are no longer union members, but are still protected by the contract. Unions are obligated to tell all covered employees about this option, which was created by a Supreme Court ruling and is known as the Beck right.”

Note that the Beck right was adjudicated in 1988, so prior to that in many cases a worker was forced to pay dues in a union shop. Details in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Workers_of_America_v._Beck (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Workers_of_America_v._Beck)
