OK, America is currently under SIEGE and undergoing the Fundamental Transformation Obama promised. The MEDIA, Social Media, Entertainment, Democrats, City and State Governments, and Corporate America, among others, are forcing Social Unrest, Violence, Chaos, and societal upheaval supporting BLM and ANTIFA. I you are "protesting" and/or Black you are largely now subjected to many Laws. Law and Order is not SELECTIVELY ENFORCED. We have the City of Settle now erecting walls in support of CHAZ, CHOP or whatever they are calling it today.
What can we do as law abiding, productive citizens to fight back and curtail this movement towards destruction of the U.S. as we know it? Our Republican representatives seem to be powerless and scared to stand up for us.
The Seattle Department of Transportation has erected concrete barriers around the Seattle Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, formerly known as CHAZ, signifying that it recognizes the autonomous zone as a permanent fixture of the downtown area.
A reporter From Q13 FOX Seattle posted images of the new barriers on Twitter Tuesday morning.
“The addition of concrete barriers in #CHOP this morning is actually very significant for a couple reasons. 1) This is a clear sign that the city is letting protesters stay long term. They are specifically adding wood around concrete barriers for people to decorate,” Brandi Kruse wrote.

Welcome to the results of voter apathy. We have the government we keep electing and re-electing, and now it's bearing a bitter fruit.
Our federal government has been populated with un-elected bureaucrats that have a progressive agenda, and are fighting us from within. Our congress and senate are populated with career politicians who have enriched themselves at our expense. While it's popular to blame the President (any President) the reality is that person is term limited, and on the overall picture has little to do with the government transformation as a whole. The bureaucrats have more control than a President could ever exert.
This is going to get much worse.

I agree with the Seattle example, but it is not just Seattle. So Republicans are powerless in every State that has have Covid-19 over reaction and over reach? How about combating BLM and ANTIFA in a Republican controlled State with an out of control Democrat City? No, it is not the Republican's fault what we are seeing, but they could be doing more and they aren't. Why?

Bowing to pressure of the BLM. They (republicans) know that if they push back against BLM, they will be taken down by the BLM, the democrats and the media.

Speaking of Antifa:
I have a specially relationship with a retired college professor who figuratively saved my daughter’s life. He’s a good man, but having spent 4+ decades in academia, he’s a leftie.
I recently sent him an email entitled “Losing Faith in my Fellow Americans”. He responded earlier today. Here’s an excerpt:
[Stan] “Instead, mayors and governors (in 100% democrat-controlled cities) have let anarchy rule, turning citizen against citizen, black against white, and white against black. Speaking of anarchy, the most ironically named group, Antifa, is a terrorist group that is receiving unfathomable quarter from virtually every mayor and police chief in our great large cities.”
[Jim]. “I’m sorry my friend but (and there is data from the FBI to back this up) of all of those arrested fewer than 10 individuals have any ties to “Antifa” - that is something that was drummed up by President Trump - your president and mine - as a way to explain away the anger in people like me because of the horrible treatment people of color receive from the police. There is no data to back up your claim or any claim about Antifa - I have to strongly disagree there.”
So I will be asking him in my follow up that (1) are you actually defending Antifa?; and (2) if it wasn’t Antifa, then do you agree it must be BLM that has caused such damage and violence and death?
So sad to see good people fall so far off the rails.
By the way, Jim’s a Biologist. He has written several anatomy books used in Med School, so he’s not a liberal arts type. Still, as we’ve seen with our resident PhD, radicalism knows no departmental bounds.

Academia has been lost for decades. It is a Communist Cult now where ANY views not 100% Radically Left will get you fired and ridiculed. "Journalism" and Media are very similar. So are Law schools.
